So if ppl hate them because one or 2 songs sound a tad like Led Zeppelin who cares , Robert plant loves them! So if they hate these guys so they must hate Jason bonham and his band that actually play zeppelin sounds! And actually they aren’t heavily influenced by LZ it’s other ppl I’ve never heard of! Ppl are just haters cause their gorgeous and sound fantastic. And girls love them! I don’t care who a band sounds like I enjoy the music they play!
I'm Gen X and love them & GVF are not posers/clones & i also happen to love Led Zeppelin:
GVF's parents are unique contemporary hippies who are professional musicians and they raised their kids to be free & to be their own creative selves.
GVF are not "nepo babies" & no rich family boosting them, so they "made it" on their own & people also get jealous because all 4 of the young men have visual beauty, as well. Not all musicians need to have a "hard edge" look to have a rock hard edge in music.
People need to learn to be happy for other peoples' successes especially when they are releasing positive, not negative energy into the world.
They bring back the real music. Influence….def not copy cats or posers.
If you are a Greta hater, please stick you head back in your shell. The talent, creativity, entertainment on and off the stage the message that these young handsome men send through their music will blow your mind.
Their music draws me in, saw them this past summer and they didn’t skip a beat even the haters get drawn in

Love these answers! I would add, some people hate the fact that others love them, and if they "don't get it" (as to what others see in them), they feel they're missing out. Rather than go listen to understand what others love about GVF, they dismiss them altogether.

Greta Van Fleet has quickly become my favorite band of all time. Grew up and The Eagles and Def Lep were my favorites. They’re still #2 and #3 for me! But Greta is different. I pray they keep going for decades to come!!
I was never a Zepplin fan… actually didn't like them… But these guys GVF have something special.
This whole hate thing on GVF is click bait, really. Very few people, if any, really hate them. I have no problem with the Zeppelin comparison. Anyway, they have their own sound and Zeppelin is just one of many influences in their music. You can also hear The Who and other 70s rock bands. Great stuff.
