Destiny 2 Lightfall
source
Lightfall being marketed as the Final Chapter in the Light-Dark Saga is now great marketing at how they should really stfu.
A filler expansion but at a premium price. Classic Bungie.
We got baited to thinking this is the finale of destiny. Bungie better give the actual last expansion of destiny free to us who bought this expansion
You accidentally made the Death of Destiny 2 video. NGL, I've played Destiny 2 everyday for this New Xpack and I don't want to play Destiny 2 anymore, tbh.
Personally I think Lightfall could have been amazing. Does anyone know if the same writer worked on both?
What is even the point of caring anymore, no matter how many times they mess up, the addicts will still throw money at them and they’ll keep releasing half baked content while adding more and more ways to monetise the game
I skipped lightfall. It just wasn’t shaping up to be what I was hoping, and I’m glad I didn’t preorder. Even content creators who generally look for the positive are ripping into lightfall.
hopefully the seasons flush out the story.
about time to tell Luke Smith to find a different project. I've not enjoyed destiny under his influence.
The new zones in my opinion or the worst ones in the game
Luke Smith is so unlikeable
I‘m coming back after a 2-year absence and I‘m having a blast. This game is finally hard again, like good old D1. Tbh I rather play the quirky Lightfall that gives me a proper challenge than most of the older D2 content that was way too easy
I guess I'll save my best buy gift card
I tried D1 when it came out and I was shocked at the lack of storytelling. So I quickly stopped playing. By some happenstance I tried WQ out and was pleasantly surprised at how much bungie had progressed in terms of telling a narrative. So much so I gave them a shot and bought Lightfall.
I am not impressed at all with the LF campaign. There was never a moment were I felt like I was capturing what the devs wanted me to feel. All I was left with was confusion on why they would throw strand at us to do a jumping section that could be done easily by just jumping: to then rip it away and making all your abilities be on CD at the start of the next encounter
We've known for years it would be lightfall then final shape. There's no confusion there as Bungie marketed lightfall as THE BEGGING OF THE END. Not the end itself.
Costs like a separate AAA game and even higher than the Witchqueen though.
Destiny has been bs since day 1. How are people still surprised. Bungie 🗑
Will everyone please stop. We get it. You didn't like Lightfall. But, the conceptual idea of what Lighfall was back in 2019 wasn't even full proofed. So to say the original Lightfall turned into The Final Shape would not be accurate. As the very clip of Luke Smith from 2019 he said, "Lightfall will drive towards a moment" notice he says a "moment". Not, the end. A moment.
I think they should have priced it cheaper and called it “Part 1” the subtitle is “the beginning of the end” or whatever and the next could be “Part 2” and it be “the end”
Final shape should be the last of Destiny 2. They should be working on Destiny 3 and add the elinski as a playable race and add dark gaurdians (AKA warlords) as villains.
If you keep in mind what the original idea was of Destiny , most of Destiny 2 is a filler
Or maybe we're all not looking at the obvious and it's a shadow delay for Destiny 3?
