  1. you're great parents. no interest in having kids? sheps will break your heart after 15 years. they are so wonderful, but they don't live forever. it's horrendous to lose them. brutal.

  3. I'd love you to do a video on how you've trained the wait command. Impulse control is one of the most important things we can train our dogs, but so many people don't bother as it's "too hard". Your GSDs are amazing at it, it would be fantastic to see how you do it and use them as an example!

  5. I love your 3 sables. I haven't caught up with them in a while… Brilliant to see them maturing and still crazy. You are right… Never alone, never bored, always covered in fur especially at blow out time…. Used to have three (had a different two first until they passed away) and when we got down to one added another – 30+ years of walks, replacing indestructable toys because they were destroyed, years of fur on clothing, nail clipping /tap dancing or hiding paws, baths, showers, rain soaked dogs, muddy dogs, going for a swim and having to keep a harness on them with a long lead attached as they would swim for ever, broody dogs caring for kittens, rounding up kids especially at meal times, oh bags of dog food, vegetables etc, taking them out to work – round up our cows to move to another field etc….. Loved it and would do it all again with more….. Now too old, too stiff etc….

  6. In fact the GSD has always been my absolute favorite breed of dog. I first fell in love with them when I was just a little boy….about 5 or 6 yrs old I think. I have never stopped loving this breed even now 50 years later. I recently lost my beautiful GSD rescue dog named Murphy. He had cancer in his major organs and his spleen ruptured on Christmas eve 2022! It was hard to have to say good bye to him but it was the right thing to do. I could not bear to see him suffer any more. I will eventually get another dog but I want to adopt from my local animal shelters so I can't really say for sure if it will be a GSD even though I would like it very much if it were!

  7. 1:27 – to be fair, leaves are pretty dangerous.

I have a half GSD mixed with some mystery father, and a lot of the GSD traits come out in him. He's super clingy, very vocal, sheds a ton despite having what seems to be a pretty thin coat, and very smart. I got lucky that whatever is mixed with him makes him pretty chill most of the time, but there's never a bad time to play fetch, tug of war, play fight, or give cuddles and rubbins. He's a fantastic alarm system, and even when he's not fully barking at strange noises, he huffs and gruffs for good measure. He's my shadow, complete with the strangest ears that range from GSD-perkiness to sleek-backed greyhound ears, and most often some combination in between that make him an enigmatic dork. I love him to death.

  8. German shepherds are my favourite breed of dogs. I got my sable shepherd who has recently turned 10 months old, he will be turning 1 years old next month on the 28th. Before I got him I wanted to have a Siberian husky but my baby boy has made German shepherds my favourite dogs, he's inspired me and I love him very much. I enjoy watching these videos because I can relate living the life of being a german shepherd parentπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•
