  2. I'm religious, and there are people that do take things out of context In the bible and they end up like this, but it's rare, but that doesn't mean they're not here in the world, the world can be evil but don't let that shake you.

  3. I downloaded this to listen to on vacation. I was not ready. This was soooo good. I loved it.
People are always confused because I enjoy supernatural horror so much. But real live people are real life horrible sometimes. They are way scarier. P

  5. Sadly is why most kids raised Catholic that violently abhor religion do hate religion. Not every person in places of power is evil, but it's more often than people think. It's upsetting. S'why I refuse to be part of a large church. The message of a higher deity might be real, but the depravity of mankind will always pervert and twist it so that they can do the most heinous of things

I may not be an atheist, but man… this is a story that has true, tangible terror and for atheists here in the comments that had this happen to you? Not even just atheists, but anybody that has had this happen to you… I'm sorry… You didn't deserve that. Nobody deserves that.

  6. This is exactly religion and its followers are the most garbage human beings. There is not one single thing you can do to change my mind. Dated a Catholic girl for 6 years, went to church, studied religion in college and many other experiences. All this has shown me nothing but horrors about religion and its people.

  7. I would have just stabbed the pastor. Realistically you'd get a psych eval, the doctors would notice signs of abuse/trauma, you'd spend some time in therapy and the cult would be uncovered. Doctors deserve more credit than fake stories give them. They would notice

  8. The cult he was in are the biggest false prophets I’ve seen next to Mormons and Paul the Apostle(Revelations 2:2), Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the truth.

  9. 18:48 👀WHAT

i don’t like any religion because every single one ends up fucked up like this, even if this one is a story
there are many cases of parents and groups literally beating people to death over ‘sin’

  10. Ive been listening to these stories for weeks now, and they've been a great way to pass the time on a graveyard shift at a gas station, or playing while driving home from work. One thing that gave me a little bit of a chuckle and distracted me from some of this story's similarities to my own upbringing (overbearing and controlling stepfather using religion to his advantage to criticize me while conveniently ignoring his own shortcomings)

At around 19:16 I heard 'I felt my knife on the grip tighten' gave me a good laugh 😂

Love the work you do and how it's presented.

  11. I was a Baptist Christian for 20 years. I was baptized in water. Also, the church was full of crap and never helped my family in need like they promised. Plus, when my life is tested on a daily basis, God never showed ever. But when I did other things that is a different subject 🤔

  12. Growing up in a Religious family… the beginning of this was all too real.

Religion for children is often so suffocating… many wonder why it doesn’t stick later down the road.
