Last year at a bike rally I had my bike washed and I guess the girls sprayed some brand of cleaner on my valve covers and it left nasty permanent water spots etched into the valve covers. It’s been bugging me ever since. Glad to see a cheap fix for my situation. Keep up the great informative vidoes.

I bought those covers for my bike, unfortunately they were not painted well, they just painted the chrome one’s and it didn’t stick well, began chipping and peeling after a couple thousand miles they looked horrible and I had to remove them.. lesson learned and $110 wasted. Just so you know, beware of the quality.

  4. They look great! One thought, though, they are attached using 3m dual locks that you stick to the cylinder heads. My cylinder heads run pretty hot – will the dual locks melt? Although I'm sure Goldstrike must've thought of that!
