Why Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Is Worth Watching!

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is an unexpected big blockbuster that kicked off the year starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Hugh Grant. The film is a take on the decades long franchise that hopefully pushes the IP into a much better territory than the famed Jeremy Iron’s version that has plagued my nightmares since 2000. Is Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves a creative, imaginative take on the age old table top game? Or is it overrated and blown out of proportion? Lets find out!

  1. I went through not only health issues but a ton of technical issues getting this out, but I must say – this came out way better than I expected. Honor Among Thieves is a deceptively delightful flick with tons of entertainment for everyone. It walks the boundaries of IP awareness, while also catering to an audience that knows little to nothing about it. I highly recommend it. Thank you for watching and as usual, be sure to share it. It helps me immensely! -Mr. Tot

  2. I really have to wonder how much the memory of the last D&D movie weighed on peoples choice to see this in theaters. Edit: i see you have the same thought! The box office wasn't all that good. but everyone who actually watches it seems to enjoy it.

  3. I really liked that movie and I don't think it's overrated. Genuine moments, I had so many good laughs, the characters are cool and memorable, the story isn't completely wacko, there is charme and charisma in some of these people as well. I'll buy this movie on physical media, and I rarely do that.

  4. The movie had a great cast with good fun had by the cast which shows in the movie. Effects were very good and it was funny in parts of the movies. Played a little like the board game of quests and obstacles with monsters and sorcerers to overcome, so Dungeons and Dragons is a well-named title. I would expect sequels if it does well in box office! A pleasure to watch!
