Ratan Tata’s new 24X7 animal hospital | Tata Trusts Small Animal Hospital Mumbai has started trials as it gears up for the official launch in the second quarter of 2024. The 24×7 facility is built on an acre of land allocated by The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to Tata Trusts. The hospital is spread across four floors including an emergency room, six operation theatres, CT & MRI scanners, Digital X-rays, Sonography, echocardiography, pathology, etc. It has ICU & extensive care rooms for animals.

What India critically needs is a world class Veterinary College with well equipped Labs preferably in collaboration with a top Institute overseas . India only has mediocre to mostly below average type of colleges
