  1. Wait… Last season the excuse was they played too many high leverage games in the pennant race with Giants and by the end of the season and were burned out. So you are saying this season they didn't play enough high leverage games at the end of the season and were ready. Not buying it. The Dodgers are becoming the champions of excuses.

  2. In my opinion, the Dodgers, will not be a competitive team in, the 2023 – 2024 season as long as Dave Roberts is the manager. The Padres will be the team of Los Angeles fans next season and the Dodgers will be a team that sucks.

  3. They struggle because they don’t give a 💩. Dave Roberts has an uncanny ability to cool off hitters when they are hot by sitting them for rest they don’t need. He killed hot streaks by resting Lux, J Turner, and yes even Bellinger this year. I don’t remember CT ever being hot. Injuries were likely used as an excuse to cover for managerial ineptitude. The team philosophy of rotational players isn’t helping either. While there are some benefits it doesn’t serve hitters well. The experimentation with Trace Thompson hurt both Bellinger and Taylor.

Andrew Friedman said that the Dodgers had an organizational failure. If that is true what’s going to change and who is accountable. It has to be either him or Roberts – they are the face of the organization. One or both need to go. Not the hitting coach.

Friedman has proven that he has the ability to assemble a team that will be a contender every year, but not the winner. Contrast him with Dave Dombrowski (Phillies GM). Roberts has proven he can’t motivate the players to perform when it counts. I don’t care if he is a nice guy; I want the Dodgers to win World Series. Again, another contrast with the Phillies. Joe Girardi wasn’t cutting it and they made a change mid season. They are on the verge of getting to the WS now.

  4. we need guys who can hit in the playoffs. the phillies are showing right now how its done. they went out and signed players who are clutch (harper, realmuto, castellanos, and schwarber) and its paying off for them. hopefully the dodgers will sign some hitters this offseason.

  5. do you think this might be possible? i find it odd when the Dodgers go from smashing hits out of the park right and left game after game…and then all of a sudden…the hits go suddenly flat the very next game….the whole lineup all of a sudden gets shutout…they are making contact…but they come up short in the outfield or ground out. Is it possible that the new mlb limited flight balls they switched to last year could be used from game to game selectively. i dont know…it's very distinctive when it happens.

  6. It looks like the Dodgers gave up, just like last year and in 2019. Dodgers look anemic in almost every post season. Too busy breaking seasonal records, and nothing in the tank left for anything else.

  7. im not going to even listen to you guys assessment. all the reporters covering the dodgers are totally delusional. theyre so far off base they dont even know whats going on. and so are the dodgers. i might change my mind from day to day. but at least i keep improving. all the dodgers reporters do is is spin whipped puke up with every word they say usually. see, it doesnt matter what they do or how much they spend . because dave will sink the team . he cant manage the team for october. whats the use of bringing anybody back or anyone in with daves decisions. and both he and friedman admit dave is making his own calls. so we know theres a problem there. and we know friedman isnt anywhere neeeeaaar as good as the fake picture all the dodgers stooge news reporters paint no matter how elaborate the lie that the dodgers are any good. theyre not. face it. its the astros who are great. they have a well run organization. theyve got all the young pitching and pitching depth. andrew likes tommy john surgery pitchers? he likes broken down pitchers. he doesnt like young talent at all. whats the use of bringing back JT if dave cant manage his load? from 2016 to 2022 ,seven seasons dave wont save JT for october. dont you feel like choking dave sometimes. hes so irritating. the dodgers shouldve won every year since 2016. but roberts kills all hope every year. even if he turned it around hes left such a bad taste lingering that he can never be forgiven. houston lost correa but now have pena. just look at the guys they draft. they draft athletes. big lean strong hungry guys who want to win. and theyre led by a truly great player altuve. hes the best ballplayer in the game. so many dodgers fans cry how the astros stole the title. yeah. Maybe. but they act like the astros couldnt play. like they werent good enough to beat the dodgers even without the trashcans. but now the astros might be coming in for the kill. theyve got the right man at the helm too. it aint because dave is black that LA is losing every year. baker is black too. but hes the right black man for the job. thats the difference. thats a big difference. the dodgers are spending way too much for free agents. they need to develop their own shortstops. their farm system sucks. they need to draft better athletes and develop talent alot better. they need to stop patting themselves on the back for the great job theyre doing and reassess the situation. something is way off in LA. too many trannies, narcissists , and insane wealthy. its rubbing off on the noggins. delusions of grandeur. the owners could care less. theyre just laughing their heads off riding on their megayachts , eating at the finest restaraunts, and screwing as many women as they can get. whether the team wins or loses makes no difference to them at all. they could care less if were tortured by the dodgers every year. our problems arent their concerns. unless it has the potential to affect their concerns negatively. that is obvious. anyway. the universe is a very large thing. its ancient. been there. done that. is what it is. okay. so looking at houstons pitching staff depth and strength is quite impressive. the dodgers would need 52 all stars every year to compensate for roberts blunderlust. that way whenever he wears them out the team could just plug in a fresh superstar to pick up the slack.and even then dave will screw it up. looks like the phillies incredible offense vs houstons well balanced attack and youth on both sides of the ball. aliens will eventually replace capitalism. then we can screw as many chicks as we want . yeah. but for now weve gotta figure out the dodgers. i was gonna quit but i wanna figure this out. ok. so we know the championship is out of reach with roberts calling the shots. and even if he turns it around its too late to forgive him. and as far as his mind is concerned hes too old and set in his ways to change his rest vs rust style and philosophy. and friedmans statement about playing for the top seed is very concerning. the astros can win all those games because their young and resilient. and theyve got a deep young pitching staff. theyre impressive. dodgers fans need to quit talking about how houston stole the 2017 w.s. they were good enough to win it without the trashcans. its daves fault for not pulling darvish out BEFORE he gave up the first run! thats the key. darvish was so nervous it made the situation obvious to a quality field manager to notice that darvish shouldve been taken out before he gave up any runs in such a critical finals game 7 of the world series. or maybe not even start the game. dave likes to throw guys out there who arent battle tested or fresh off the injured list in the most critical situations. that idiot will wait for the key moments to make his worst moves. over and over again. year after year. decade after decade. he just never stops with the clown idiot king behavior. the more critical the situation is the worse he gets. it makes people cringe in disgust and anger. and that freakin idiot friedman just keeps employing him no matter what through thick and thin. both friedman and kasten. kasten won one title with the braves, barely. and zero full season titles with LA. im just wondering when theyre gonna start putting forth a little bit of effort. or when their gonna start bringing in some young athletes with some fire in their bellies that are gonna put some effort forth. but still that wasnt the problem with the team the last few years. they just lost motivation having been forced to live with daves blunderlust. his moves are so horrible its demotivating. daves real skill is sucking the life out of the team with his philosophical implementation. dave sounds like hes oblivious to all the criticism. the dodgers have lost all respect with that clown at the helm. when it comes to picking managers friedman sucks! a manager needs brains number one. energy is good but brains come first when picking a manager. if you cant handle the responsibility youre not supposed to be in there! YOU NEED MORE BRAINS! BRAINS! BRAINS! And if you dont replace dave the players are going to start laying down in the postseason on purpose! theres only so much sh theyre willing to tolerate. you had last year and this year locked up. you didnt just fail. you dogged it. every year since 2016. everybodys getting sick of the dodgers now. they all hate the team. the dodgers beat up on everyone all season long and when its crunch time you always disappear in the postseason. its not the players fault. its managements fault. top seed is a 50/50 proposition. those are the statistical facts! historically. houston might win it all this year with over 104 or 105 wins but their young and resilient. they handled the load better because they didnt go into world war 3 mode mid season expending their loads prematurely. the dodgers had a bigger cumshot and satisfying orgasm mid season but paid the price for it late in september and werent allowed to rest and recover before the division series. it was foolish to win 111 games. real dumb. the players kept silent but it was obvious they didnt like it. of course trea and freddie are going to bark and make those he man noises saying how they want to play every game. thats just the bullshit of youth right there. treas doing that because he wants to add several million to his upcoming contract negotiations. and freddies in that superman mode psychology . like JT and mookies got it too. at those ages alot of guys get that invincibility feeling and they dont know any better. its just at that age range a slight physical decline begins but the experience and skill sets are still rising a little bit and certain guys start to feel confident and dominant. and their egos get a little pumped up. but freddies not supposed to go for 200 hits or other statistics . he was the dodgers #1 offensive force this year. freddie JT mookie and trea were most of the firepower. they needed to be benched the last several games to rest up more than anybody . smith too. all of em. all the pitching too. accepting the wildcard increases the chances of a world series title. RUST was never an issue. only dave would dream up a rust issue in late september when the whole team needed an extended vacation after the mid season orgy the team had burning up every ounce of energy going up 80 something wins to 30 something losses. and then after october 5th with 5 days off the dodgers are throwing scrimmages i heard. it was reported i think. the top seed usually fails in the postseason for one main reason usually. Tiredness. that can take on different forms. physical. mental. emotional. the odds go way down if players arent totally and fully recovered before the start of the playoffs. LATER. ARMYMIKE

  8. Above all, we need the smart and real manager with the lion heart who breathe the team the fire
Roberts played the same strategy as the regular season
Playoffs is definitely different with the regular season
It made the padres prepare the game easily

  9. I'd suggest an elementary course in statistics. Fans so drunk on anger that they don't even realize how foolish their ideas have become. A sample of a few games does not tell us anything meaningful actually. I'm watching the ALCS, take a look at Judge's postseason numbers, I used to want him on our team, but now, he obviously sucks, I bet the Yankees are glad they didn't extend him, we sure don't want him anymore and who would. Maybe he should start the season at AAA next year and see if he can find himself again. Do you see how stupid this all sounds?

Let's fire the president, the GM, the manager, the coaches, and a bunch of players based on a 4 game sample. Never mind they set records, had the best offense and the best defense in MLB, let's look at a few games like this and go ballistic and lose our minds completely.

I only made it through the first minute and to be honest I can't take any more of this foaming at the mouth. I don't just want to single you guys out, this disease has affected a lot of Dodger fans, and I have enjoyed some of your stuff up until things went the wrong way. Seeing us lose this series was the most painful loss I've ever had to through, this is the best Dodger team we've ever had, we clobbered the Padres all year, it looked like we were probably going to make it to game 5 which would have put us in the driver's seat, but it was not to be. Knowing this is how the game works , how it can go sometimes, did help though and that's how you get over it. I expect you guys will take much longer because if you think 4 games mean anything, let alone everything, this will leave you angry and confused in perpetuity.

  10. I agree here. Now, no team can win the WS every season…right! Winning 111 regular season games is actually over-achieving; it's outstanding for baseball. The most qualified team doesn't always win WS…when you get to postseason if you get some breaks and you play hot and you have teammates who want to win and if the pitching is solid, then you win the World Series. You may not win again for another 40 years…50 years…in baseball that's a fact. My problem with this team was they did not show up for post-season.

  11. Betts had 35 hr. If he had been hitting behind Trea Turner and Freddy Freeman he would have easily had 120 rbi. Dave Robert's was entirely too patient with Justin Turner, Max Muncy, Cody Bellinger and Chris Taylor. They all underperformed. Amazing that they won 111 games with so little coming from those guys.

  13. I think it was approach I don't buy the layoff and not playing an important game for six weeks because last season we played important games until the end in a division race with the giants and it wore us down I think this post season it was mentality and approach. And lack of killer instinct these dudes play like it's there job not like they love it if that makes sense

  14. This team had too many multi-millionaires who couldn't be bothered to perform. Any other team of this caliber would've had a manager who could fix that, but not this one. Basically, Friedman put together a team destined to fail … and it'll fail every year until that manager-thing is fixed.

  15. Poor Managing decisions (no small ball and mismanagement of pitching decisions) by Roberts and Friedman

Poor hitting and defense by the players

    Lack of execution

When you have 2 strikes …. STOP TRYING TO HIT HOME RUNS

    Just my opinion !!

  16. Seems obvious. Fix the swings and play smart baseball. Chris Taylor is a prime example. He needs to level out his swing instead of this upper cut approach. Smart baseball means know when to slow down the swing or bunt. Making an out on the first pitch just plays into the opposing starting pitcher. Don't need to swing 100 miles an hour to have a productive at bat. Focus on adjusting so you make contact. But Dodger players know best right?
