Is it logically correct that a world which position was broadcasted would still be attractive for colonization in the dark forest?
I don't understand why the Tri-Solarans didn't just make people drink sea water or bleach by tricking them.
Something has been bothering me since I first watched the show on Netflix. I can’t seem to find the answer. Maybe I missed a scene or something.
The question is, when Dr. Ye (the woman that made the first contact with Aliens), a “good” alien told her not to contact them because the aliens will kill mankind. Then the show made it seem like the aliens only made that decision to kill the mankind only after finding out mankind can lie. However, hints were placed throughout the story that even before the aliens found out humans can lie, they were already planning on killing humans. Examples: killing scientist and not letting scientist further their experiments. Also it was funny how they only found out humans can lie after the conversation with Evan’s because they were able to see everything from the beginning. So that means they know humans can lie before the crucial conversation.
Can anyone answer my questions?

I don't know if this has been answered but how do they know what Earth looks like? How do they know that Earth is even habitable for them?
I think when people ask, "Why did the aliens pick Earth?" it's not because they didn't understand that we invited them through our communications. It's more like, if the aliens are on a planet with three suns and that is really making existence difficult for them, and they are a space-faring race, why didn't they leave their planet for some other planet long ago? Why did they stay there and suffer until they heard from another civilization and only THEN board their ships and relocate?
A civilisation on the brink of extinction constantly seeking a planet with intelligent life on it doesn't make sense in the first place. Why wouldn't they go search for a planet without intelligent life to settle on without any hassle?
Never underestimate the depths females will sink to in order to destroy other females.

I can't believe you've had to tell people that this is fiction. What a sad world we live in.
Do not forget that the video is simply literature. Albeit, I wonder why the first contact warned not to respond. Yet, like Eve of another literature, she was warned but still went ahead, making it possible for a great challenge to ensue upon us Earthlings.Surely, the first contact that warned must be an ally for Earth or for any civilization out there that picked up the signal. The story did not seem to put much importance to the identity of this alien that warned us not to respond.
The technology involved in the head piece is way ahead of the time. The story did not attempt to explain how it got created. Note that the ship was already the source of the videos that play in the head piece. Yet, somehow, even after the ship has been cut into pieces, along with the big antenna, the head piece is still operational and getting used by the aliens to communicate with the traitors of Earth.
