  1. This looks so beautiful! I hope they work on the character looks a little more before release. Yours is the best I’ve seen so far. Some of the guys are just plain awful.

  2. It looks gorgeous! Of course I’m loving Dinkum. This gives me wonderful ideas for decorating in the future. πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€πŸŒΈπŸŒ·πŸ’πŸŒΉπŸŒΊ

  4. Looks amazing! Dinkum is great! It has been a bit frustrating how fast the natural foliage pops back in after you clear an area. I spend so much time clearing growth off my pristine lawn πŸ˜†

  5. Fleurs, I love what you're doing in this game! I've been focusing on the mechanics on this game and not the decorating aspect. You've inspired me… I'm gonna make my village prettier now! πŸ™‚

  6. You can get mangrove trees where you want them. Just take the mud it's in and make a section of it where you'd like them to grow and in a few days there will be mangrove trees there. πŸ™‚ That's how I've gotten them near my town so i don't have to go far to get the sticks lol.

  7. I know a lot of people love this game and I can see why, but for me personally I always felt the game was a bit ugly. Seeing your build though, has changed my mind about the aesthetic capabilities of Dinkum. This came out so beautiful!

  8. Not sure if you figure it out later in the game cause I'm at the very beginning of the video where you mention not being able to find your wheelbarrow, if you open your map your wheelbarrow will show up via a little picture marker of it on the map so you can click on it so it'll show up on your mini map/compass.

  9. Very nice. Didn't know about the flower boxes connected like that! I'll have to play around with them later.

I have a little town plaza going but don't have many furniture or decorating items yet. That fountain will be a great town centre mini garden! Thanks for the ideas!

  10. This looks so fun! I must resist for awhile however, as grad school starts in just over a week. I have wanted a flower pot DIY from AC FOREVER! Honestly, it would be so easy – clay, flower seeds – there you go, Nintendo!

  11. I find it very refreshing watching AC players decorate in Dinkum. There's a lot of square type builds people do in Dinkum, but I've found a few AC players that build a little more naturally so there's so much dimension and interest to look at.
Hmm, I don't really feel that much AC vibes from this game too much besides a few things. I play too much games tho. It feels like slow-paced Stardew Valley because of the time and skill leveling and emphasis on different activities like foraging along with farming. I was hoping it would be a little more Dragon Quest Builders 2 with the build mechanics, but you can't build as freely as that game. So being sold on "this is like Animal Crossing x Minecraft x Stardew" didn't work very well on me because I'm seeing a lot of limitations and some pacing issues. I wished it had more of the fun elements of AC and more freedom of Dragon Quest Builders/Minecraft building. Otherwise, I think this game is okay, a bit of jack of all trades sort of game.
