LOL The Vatican is the world's largest gay club. Will the copycat state in Albania be gay too? Oops! Homosexuality is 'haram' (forbidden) in Islam and punishable by stoning to death? Homosexuality is a sin too in the Bible but you know Christians, they cherry-pick what to practice.
What Albania is doing is trying to make the muslims neglectful of their religion and it's obligations, which they call "being tolerant". It's a disgrace. A muslim shouldn't be neglectful, as it only causes problems. Same as going overboard with prohibiting which isn't prohibited and allowing which isn't allowed, such as what IS and their likes do. For them, the revelation is only correct if it's agrees with their narrative. These sufies don't seem to be muslim if they actually want to allow everything Allah has prohibited. Start then a new religion if you want to follow whatever you like, but that's probably why they do it. Those sufies from this order seem to hate islam, hence they wish to change it under the name of "tolerance".

As a lifelong atheist who does not like religion in general and islam in particular, this honestly sounds like a pretty good idea. Always liked Albania and its secular nature, so this promotion of a tolerant branch of Islam is just what Islam needs, and Albania is probably one of the best countries to spearhead it imo.
Seen some comments saying this is just a sort of publicity stunt, or a way to make illegal money "disappear" so maybe it's best not to celebrate too early. I don't really care if they go through with it or not but the way it was presented doesn't sound too bad.
It wont happen because it violate Albanian constitution, this will be an offshore microstate to launder drug and corruption money ,my country is most peaceful when it comes to religion tolerance so yea no way it will become true

It is not happening. Edi Rama can dream all he wants but that has 0 chance of happening due to the constitution. The constitution for this issue can be changed by referendum and now Albania is not a muslim majority country as of the census of this year. Islam is not part of the cultural fabric of Albania since it is an Arabic culture first but Islam in Albania is only superficial at best.
