In medieval England, the Dover migrant problem would have been seen for what it is, an invasion and would've been dealt with brutally and decisively, sending a message to the scroungers, scum and leeches of the world that their lives on or near these shores would be short. Now we're seen as a nation of teddy bears handing out hotel rooms a feast of benefits and free housing, to any loser who shows up with a sob story.

A long time ago now? (2007 to 2008) I once worked a Sunday morning overtime Shift, traveling to Arnold in Nottingham. Whilst traveling through Nottingham that morning, it was reported on the radio that a young Women had been assaulted in the City that same night/early morning. She (Young Women) Was found half naked, beaten up, her half naked body blue in colour. She threw herself upon another man walking home from a nightout, she reportedly screamed please don't leave me! I want my Mum!
It was later reported that her attacker was a large African Failed Asylum Seeker who the Foreign Office had failed to deport! – Another ruined young life. Parents, Grandparents and Family in huge grief.

Alas, just speaking one's thoughts these days is considered a "hate crime" which is severely punshisable. What hope actual defence. One is then condemned as a "far right extremist or terrorist ". Even soaps, coronation Street, especially, is running a story that is villifing those that dare to mention migration. This country is lost. The younger generation have been indoctrinated so completely. I would love to know what future historians will make of this era. Because one thing I know to be true is that " there is nothing new under the sun" and what goes around, comes around.
