That feathery trex looking thing in the snow biome if you can tame one and saddle it, it will have a right click ability that will provide defense and offensive buffs for all tamed dinos around you. Its known as a Yute, but i usually name the first female I find Karen cause it screams at you.
if you wanna tame a giga soon in the future i suggest a few thousand narcotics and a few thousand darts and 3 rifles incase they break because even level 1 gigas could kill 50 alpha raptors
If you ever decided to fight a giga with just rexs DONT DO IT the last 2 weeks i bred 5 rexs with 800%+ melee damage and all of them is lvl 300+ with journeyman saddle.. i decided to test their strength stupidly by trying to fight a giga and i lost ALL OF MY REXS that i spent 8 hours to each rexs IN LESS THAN A MINUTE and im still kinda sad abt that incident lol. Cant blame the game ark is ark
