  21. The Pumpkin Head has a unique response to bleeding in his vicinity, he starts to panic. The fun part is that his weapon does a bit of bleed, so he helped you proc it and then got scared.

  22. Happy birthday, though I’m sure it’s belated by now. Your training arc has been fun to watch, but I have to admit that I liked your strength build better. Still, you’re doing very well with what you have. Watching you figure out the Godskin Duo fight in the last video was a real treat. GGs on that, btw. Hope you had a nice birthday, and I look forward to seeing how you finish the game.

  25. That horse fight is a lot harder if you buy the game, physical disc and do not update the game.
    If you are looking for a real fight, the updates made the game easier.. so you challenged a diminished version of the game.

Grubby something you may have not remembered if you 2hand lightning sword in left hand you can still do the ash of war then go back to dual weilding and keep the buff on left hand and also use ash on right sword. I do the same thing with straight swords and sacred blade in left as it's a progictile attack that leave a holy buff and I like the dual straight sword combos

  29. The beast clergyman's spells are the primary reason I did his questline in 2nd playthrough to be a mini beast caster surprisingly effective it unfortunately almost impossible to do on a 1st run playthrough unless you use a guide to do questline.

  39. Happy Birthday Grubby, you are in my top 3 of Elden Ring playthroughs DrDisrespect, PewDiePie, and you. Btw, you and DrDisrespect both voice the ghost npcs the same exactly way, such a coincidence lol.
    If I can suggest something: You never really gave Rivers of Blood a real chance, you paired it with a lightning Katana, not a secondary bleed item. It's honestly better to just 2h the RoB instead of doing that, but if you wanted to max its potential, you would have to find a Wakizashi (a dagger that pairs specifically with Katanas allowing to right click for combo attacks) or a plain Katana (Uchigatana) and put a Bleed weapon art on it like you've done with the plain dagger. You unfortunately don't have either of those weapons, so in your current state, with your build as is, and the weapons you have, 2-handing RoB would be best with the focus to level up Arcane only.

  40. Great playthrough Grubby! I'm very impressed by your persistence!
    I never managed to beat Milenia or Malekith using weapons with no poise dmg (i.e. khatnas or daggers). I got my fingers crossed you can make it work!
    Try the greatsword sometime 🙂
    It's an absolute beast of a weapon!
    (its not some great sword, its literally called "Greatsword". You have it in your inventory already)

  44. My dude you don't need to level up, you need to get good. Levels won't help against Maliketh and the end game bosses, you gotta level up your knowledge of their fights. What combos do they have? Where are the openings? How many attacks in each different combo? What are the tells that you're about to get hit?

    It's not POE or Diablo, it's more like boxing. You have to read their patterns and find openings. If you're spamming roll, you have a low chance of avoiding damage, because the game designers know that you're going to spam rolls. These bosses were designed to punish people who spam
