Some days you beat The Boat and some days The Boat beats you! This episode I have an accident and hurt myself when I fall into the forward cabin of my pilothouse trawler. As a result, I finally start working on building trawler cabin steps. I construct a bulkhead out of Coosa Board, and I try and chop a big hole in my boat. I shed no tears.

On my 34 Hatteras, I was stepping on a 1 gal can of polyester fairing compound to get up on the gunnel. The other day while stepping down on it, the friggin can collapsed, and my big ass fell down, thankfully I didn't fall into the bilge, but landed splayed out in the cockpit. Took a pretty good beating that day
Head back to my 27 fc on the tenth. A few projects then starting the great loop June 1st . I really enjoy all the upgrades your doing to the boat I'm looking forward to seeing the new engine install thanks đź‘Ť.

Hi mate, I'm thinking about buying a dawncraft dandy 19ft boat (looks like something only a mother could love) it needs new windows and frames which is a real pain and would really like to completely board over the window apertures and put something universally available like some side port holes. Could I use foam board?
