PHIL PERRY NAILING IT!!! Phil Perry is the best Patriots reporter because in addition to knowing the NE Patriots, Phil KILLS THE DRAFT every year.
Whether the report is true or not what's the drama? That BB is willing to trade any of his players? Is this actually news to anyone? Remember Rodney Harrison? Remember Jamie Collins? Remember Chandler Jones? And what's the alternative? To refuse to listen to any team about any trades? Imagine if the Chiefs refused to listen to offers for T Hill xD
Enough with the Telenovelas and get back to football please
If a guy is 5’10” 200lbs, they call him small, but if he’s 6’3” 200lbs, then he’s big. Does anyone else see how stupid that sounds? This is football, not basketball
Bill doesn't want premium players. They have thoughts and feelings, and bill can't have that. That's why he takes marginal players, so they won't back talk him, and they are just happy to be somewhere.
Still no anchor wideout! 😒
I love BB but that coaching set up last year was a foreseeable problem, that became an actual problem. And Mac's the problem now? These hot-takers ought to be ashamed of themselves. He's an NFL quarterback. Develop the player. Patrick Mahomes sat for a year. Remember that. Even the best QB in the league needed to be developed. Better edge blocking and receivers that can uncover on the regular would help tremendously. Otherwise you'll burn out Stevenson in the coming season as the only guy who can advance the ball consistently. That's an organizational issue. Not a twenty-four-year-old getting paid $4.2M, less than two percent of the Patriots salary cap in 2023.
ZAPPE! ZAPPE! ZAPPE!
Gossiping about Gossip. Meanwhile Billy O is working with Mac, and I have to believe that a good OC is worth 3 wins over a season. So 11 & 6 and the Play-offs is the target. Which btw that is Bob Kraft's target as well. Bill turns 71 next week, and I wouldn't be surprised if he called it quits after this year.
Mac wasn’t the problem. BB and his colossal ego is the problem. Even right now Bill is orchestrating behind the scenes media campaign to crush Mac.
Patriots should trade 14 for 29 and 40 with New Orleans. Take Anton Harrison if still available or Darnell Washington if not. Possibly Jamir Gibbs at 40 and if they still need a tackle they can scoop Bergeron at 46
Finally me and Phil on the same page I was thinking trade down to 20 to 23 and taking z and getting a extra 2nd and using some that daft capital to move up with the two 2nd rounds to go after the best CB and tackle IMHO they should use as much capital as they can to get as many picks in the top 100 as possible and then focus on udfa to fill out the rest of the roster
How' bout we see that Belichick has an excellent battle hardened Defense via an inept Offense as the successful plan B!. Now suckers, Coach is just a few parts on Offense away from producing January football at home in the cold!. Ther's yah lunch.
would you rather… have matt patricia make the draft day calls than bill belichick?
Meyers couldn’t score the ball if he tried. Glad he got paid but wasn’t worth it. Everything the pats want? Out of your damn mind!
Bullying is against the law, that's what Bill is doing. He should have fired the two coaches which are still there.
Joey Porter. Bank it
Tackle, Corner, Receiver which position could make the biggest impact? All things considered with tackle being a close second, you get your Jaylen Waddle/#1 receiver by drafting Zay Flowers. I am convinced he would have the greatest impact. I’m sure there is hesitation along with careful consideration. I believe Zay Flowers with the revamped offense and coaching staff will get 12 wins!!!!😁👍
All I can say is, if Bill REALLY thought "the coaching was FINE, especially by the end," 3:00, I can think of no greater indictment–along with, well, the idiotic decision to elevate Patricia and Judge to begin with–of his legacy. It's one thing to be stubborn and have the bedside manner of a troll. Another the seem like you live in an alternate reality. When YOU are running the show. It's clear-as-day NOT TRUE. The coaching, on offense, got WORSE in terms of overall effect as the season went on. The very idea that, "Oh, by the end, they had it figured out," is a flat-out LIE. If Bill REALLY believes it was, then the man's already dead-man-walking as a coach. No wonder RKK is flexing.
They should take Zay Flowers with the 14th pick they desperately need an elite receiver for Jones to have any success but Bill will take a OL that nobody has on their day one board
None of that trade talk is true
2000 NYG, Dayne and Barber. But point well taken. First round RB would be a catastrophe.
Give Jones or Zappe lots of front line protection and time for good decisions. Without a good offensive line any QB will struggle
Myers had plenty of opportunities to put up a 900 season and he just couldn't accomplish it. I'm okay with trying a different guy..
