🤔 NEW HERE? 🤔
Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil.

From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.

Choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.

Abducted, infected, lost. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength. Caught in a conflict between devils, deities, and sinister otherworldly forces, you will determine the fate of the Forgotten Realms together.

Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through our biggest world yet.

The Forgotten Realms are a vast, detailed and diverse world, and there are secrets to be discovered all around you — verticality is a vital part of exploration. Sneak, dip, shove, climb, and jump as you journey from the depths of the Underdark to the glittering rooftops of the Upper City. How you survive, and the mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

allows you to combine your forces in combat, and split your party to follow your own quests and agendas. Concoct the perfect plan together… or introduce an element of chaos when your friends least expect it.

offer a hand-crafted experience, each with their own unique traits, agenda, and outlook on the world. Their stories intersect with the entire narrative, and your choices will determine whether those stories end in redemption, salvation, domination, or many other outcomes.

based on the D&D 5e ruleset. Team-based initiative, advantage & disadvantage, and roll modifiers join combat cameras, expanded environmental interactions, and a new fluidity in combat that rewards strategy and foresight.

through your choices, and the roll of the dice. No matter who you play, or what you roll, the world and its inhabitants will react to your story.

allows you to pause the world around you at any time even outside of combat. Whether you see an opportunity for a tactical advantage before combat begins, want to pull off a heist with pin-point precision, or need to escape a fiendish trap. Split your party, prepare ambushes, sneak in the darkness — create your own luck!

  1. TIP: You got a ton of empty backpacks in your inventory. I am sure its driving everyone else as insane as it is me. You can organize your stuff, also if you put a bunch of useful gear in your companions backpack (just take one of the empty ones from have) and you can just put all the stuff in that and transfer it around when you dismiss and pickup new people

  2. I don't know where the story is going and I don't know if Voss is speaking the truth about his goal but I think it was a pretty good decision to go invisible and sneak past him so this could happen. Well done.

  3. Odd and Luckless last episode: Man, Lae'zel is such a fanatic.
Also Odd and Luckless this episode: Nods and lets Lae'zel take the lead (in conversation at camp)

I mean why? She clearly can't make good decisions. Lol

Also, you can get an owlbear cub in your camp but that ship has sailed (you killed it). Also the dog you killed can be your summon for find familiar.

  4. Please, please, explore the area thoroughly…. since the fiasco at the last light inn, you don't have a bunch of quests. So, you might not get that you really need to go to some key areas, no spoilers what or where they are…

  5. So Lae'zel had culled four of her classmates by the time K'llir had circled Toril a hundred times. Now let's think about it. Toril's moon Selune, and the Tears that follow it, including Creche K'llir, take about a month to circle Toril. So she was about 100 months old which is… about 8 years and 4 months. She had killed four of her classmates by the time she was 8.

  6. Nice job on Gerringothe Thorm – I don't know if tactician gives you less HP (I'm on explorer and I feel like my party had a lot more HP at this point, maybe just higher level?) but she can easily take you down in one turn with some of her abilities so I'm glad she didn't

  7. Guys just for heads up! There is a possible bug with Voss at the next step. Just before proceed the mission please save. Not everybody has the same bug but I had and some other people had it as I've seen in the forums.

  8. My friend and I kicked her off the ledge. I gave him invisibility and hill giant strength and he kicked her in the back off the ledge for 532 bludgeoning damage 🤣

  9. just a note, its not that weird that lae'zel dont believe/trust him, sure she experienced something that makes her question herself but she has also been indoctrinated with her beliefe for who knows how many years.

  10. So your on Tactician difficulty because the combat was too easy, yet now you are trying to avoid a lot of combat or getting your ** handed too you (not always). Even when you went back to the creche where you were over leveled. If you want to stay on tactician, I would recommend trying more of your spells out (on Halsin and Gale). You have one spell haste that makes things a lot easier, but you have not tried it at all… And Luckless took a potion of speed (which can be crafted) last time but not this time…. Maybe, you're not playing long enough to get in a good groove or rhythm, but it seems like you forget stuff you learned in previous fights.

Though with all that, I got admit this is by FAAAAR the most interesting Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough on YouTube.

  11. Not sure if you're already past it, but I'm just reminding how Gale expressed his desire to be present at Moonlight Towers earlier in your playtrough. Something something walking explosive.

  12. in case it wasnt obvious, when you got that warning for entering Moonrise, its talking aboit someone in you party that cant pass off as a True Soul.

the game/DM was talking about Halsin, he doesnt have a tadpole, and they can tell.

thats what im assuming at least, i didnt bother using Halsin much after i got through his quest.

dude's kinda boring. Jaheira is the much more interesting Druid

  13. Mind reading works like Talk to Dead and Speak with animals. Cast it (or drink a potion) once right after the long rest, and it'll give you more dialog options whenever it's relevant.

It's a passive that just enables more speech options from time to time.

  14. Watching this halfway through: Could the dream figure be the true heir, only with a different appearance? Orpheus or however you say it? We all get to choose how the dream figure looks, so it could be their form is actually completely different, and part 2 did say he just suddenly disappeared. Maybe she trapped him in there long ago and he changed his form after being in that piece of the Astral Plane for so long.

  15. Whenever I don't have Astarion with me I just send any locked chests I find to camp. It's funny when you chuck them all out of the Traveller's chest and make him get to work

  16. You actually already met the egg ladys bosses the society of brilliance, it was the bugbrar and mindflayer in the underdark, i was hoping youd remember them and see if there is anything special for bringing the egg straight to them

  17. Sometimes Odd you have to trust someone. And given what you now know of Vlaakith take any allies you can. No spoilers just my personal opinion when this happened. Raphael the Devil had already told you that there was no cure for the tadpoles and on this I would take his word. I will agree I'm a little cautious regarding our Dream Guardian and I don't listen to every warning because she can get it wrong (she doesn't trust any Gith for good reason but not all are her enemies). But as Asterion has already said I'm a boy scout. I like to give people a chance – before I kill them.
