The fact that Guillermo really liked to raise Colin only made me more sad when Colin told Lazlo that he didn't remember anything of his first year and poor Lazlo, he bonded so much with him. But there's a theory that Colin might have some recolection, because he whistle one song he learned from his singing days.

I have a theory. Since Guillermo not getting turned into a vampire has become a running joke, maybe next season we'll discover that being part of a vampire hunter bloodline makes him immune to vampirism. Not a fun theory if it's true though
I think they tease us but they will not go through with it, if they wanted to make Guillermo vampire they would show Derek biting him on the finale, something crazy will happen and Guillermo will not get what he wants but I'm here for it!

Whether he is turned or not, Guillermo taking charge of his own destiny was a good ending.
