Ol herma mora
I find him to be quite fascinating and interesting at the same time.
I mean all I'm really hearing from this is that Herma be the nerd of the group. Dagon: So should we invite herma to the party? The rest: NO! Are you nuts he's just gonna talk about books an ask people if they know anything about Skall weaving techniques! Molag Bal: Yeah dude that incel ain't even funny when he's drunk and he doesn't even drink that much. Mephala: Yeah total vibe killer! Lets not tell him about Saturday.
Meanwhile, Herma's like: I feel like there's yet even more information being kept from meeeeee! :((((((
"Hermaeus Mora", keeper of all knowledge, known and occult, feels like a loose parallel to our real world Hermes Trismegistus (Hermes/Thoth), author of The Kybalion. Need this sort of detailed lore investigation into the mystery of our real world!
Fudgemuppet videos in a nutshell:
Makes 40+ minute video then at the end “take all that with a grain of salt though”
You have absolutely outdone yourself with this vid. Much praise!!
sheogorath could come in and fuck everything up for hermaeus mora if he wanted to.
I am BEGGING you; please tell me what daedric armor mod you're using
Dragonborn Emperor is different from Dragonborn Miraak. The "Emperor" was made to maintain a wall, the "Miraak" was made to slay a demi god dragon. Alessia as dragon blood, but its never said that she had a dragon soul
Dragon breaks doenst make sense, its impossible. During the break its possible, but after it end, there will be only one truth. For example, I lost my arm in the dragon break, but in other vision I didnt lost, when the dragon break ends, I have my arm? If yes, then the only truth is that I didnt lost my arm
But the dragon souls cost to respec is a currency paid to Herma Mora or the fuel to be able to reshape your body and mind?

Forest… Forest of books?
"I have learned… that, there is such a thing… as too much… information…"
– Hermaeus Mora, 2013
It's very interesting to hear the real world connotations. I've always pictured Hermaeous Mora and some of the other daedra in a similar light as some of "The Watchers" in the Book of Enoch.
I have decided I do not want to know "What's in the box".
Hermaeus Mora thinks he is the most knowledgeable being, but he doesn't know the dragonborn has Google on his side.
Please continue this!!! The original daedric Prince video series Is my favorite out of all your content And I would love to see updated videos on the lot
I wonder if they're gonna keep dragons flying in elder scrolls 6. I hope so. They also better include the last dragon born and what happened to them. After becoming the leader of every major guild in skyrim. Along with being basically immortal
I don't think Mora will be able to get the last dragonborn. The Deadra don't have a good record dealing with anything dragon related. Dagon was stopped by the dragonblood and a dragon soul. Bal captured a dragon wanting to learn their secrets and failed the dragon resisted to the end. Bal failed to dominate its soul. And Miraak mearly used Mora and rebelled. Anything of the dragonblood cannot be dominated or controlled by others especially by daedra. Perhaps its the very nature of dragons themselves that's in their blood. Those of the dragonblood dragonborns/dragons will not allow themselves perhaps by instinct to be dominated by others unless its their own kind. The children of Akatosh are the dominator not the subject.
Hermeus Mora = "sea forest"?
I can't help but feel like there is a connection between his name translating to forest/wood and one of his nicknames being "The Gardener of Man"
Dragon souls are not only pieces of Akatash but pieces of infinity.
Mora is collecting dragon souls because if you go back to Oblivion they had a quest that had a book that talked about the black books 📚 and out of all the black books there was one that was smaller called the little black book and in that book he seek to obtain Yoragirls number.
I have a theory about why Herma Mora doesn't like Vaermina.
You know how you sometimes wake up from dreams and can't remember them? What if the reason for this in the Elder Scrolls is because Vaermina is plotting something. Or maybe Herma Mora thinks she is.
We know Herma Mora can't stand not knowing something, no matter how obscure or pointless. And not knowing something about a fellow daedric prince can spell doom for him.
If Vaermina is doing something in dreams that Herma Mora should be concerned about, he'd never know. Because the mortals whose dreams she uses for this will forget by the time ge gets his tentacles on them. And if it's not in their memories, he'd have nothing.
Perhaps Vaermina is doing something that could pose a threat to Herma Mora, or maybe he's paranoid and obsessed
21:06 I just realized why it took so long for Hermeaus to take the skaals knowledge because they keep entombing their bodies in stahlrim which is literally divine ice 🧐
You were onto something with Hermes as the Norse equivalent to Hermes was Odin or Woden who was similarly a trickster god rather than the mistaken association to Zeus he has in modern interpretation.
There are similar real world oddities to his name as the Germanic and Romantic world's and languages intertwined.
This brings to my attention hema mora is the prince of knowledge not understanding you can know something and not understand it
So the wood of trickery?
The ending to Dragon Born DLC was trash. You're a demi god with the soul of a dragon given to you by the god of time, but Bethesda decides to make you some eldritch ass holes' b@tch so they can toss you aside like they did to the hero of Cyrodil
Are there Daedric "kings and queens"?
I know we call the Daedra mains, "princes" so that's why I'm curious
Whoever wrote this needs to be a writer. Seriously.
Very much lovecrafts yog sothoth. Eyes or spheres tentacles, knowledge of all things. Omnipotent but approachable.
30:10 Am I the only one who thought of that as the elder scrolls equivalent of a fighting game
its the fourth Daedra my Dunmer pays homage too, since he is a mage, similar to Neloth, but never was of Telvanni,
What happens when Hermes Mora becomes aware of the dream? Is he already there or does he have a chance at zero Sum
If there's one individual that knows what happened to the dwemer, Hermaeus would be that individual.
Isn't total Knowledge what Jyggylag had? Does that mean Jyggylag and Herma mora share similar spheres? If Jyggylag was a threat to all other daedric lords, was this one such way he threatened herma mora?
Hermeaus Mora lives in a literal Sea of Knowledge
🙂
“Hermaeus Mora learns fascinating new ways to skin a Horker and you become the second most powerful Dragonborn to ever live.”
-Master Neloth
i love him so much you can just feel the hp lovecraft
What is the measure of time before time exists to measure?
What is truth before agreement?
What is, prior being?
That is how you exist older than creation while being haven created of it.
Have you considered a kelp forests for him?
So there was something about what happens above happens bellow that you said and that got me thinking.
Could that mean that the human races in elder scrolls 6 are going to be in a bad way?
My thinking is that because the worship of Talos was outlawed by the elves. Would that not make the god get weaker and weaker until his children ( humans) couldn’t hear him after the civil war and now they are lost without him.
If Alduin was sent forward in time, it might be the case that the dragons we defeat are likewise returned to sleep only to awaken in a future age. By collecting their souls, we hold them for a time, but when we consume them, they return to sleep. If we give the soul to Hermeaus Mora, he consumes their souls for the experiences they had, and likewise returns them to sleep…
Great breakdown
Oh look, It's Gargantos! 😄
Sorry, I had to… 🤪
I’ve only just started playing Skyrim, but Hermaeus Mora instantly became my favorite Daedric Prince
Hail vaermina
