Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, who must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through first- and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam in its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, robberies, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character’s honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player.

  6. Hey Cam. Pro tip: Switch your Ammo Type to Express Ammo. Right on d-pad when wheels open. Hits Alot harder and you won't regret it. Also drink the Ginseng Elixir, Valerian Root, Aged Pirate Rum as soon you get them for permanent XP buffs to health, stamina or Dead eye. Can drink from the wheel or satchel. Loving the playthrough can't wait to see more😊

  7. You should have had a Springfield rifle long, long ago. It's a one-shot kill on a pretty big array of large game animals from deer to alligators to grizzly bears.
    It's also probably a good time to start collecting pelts for Pearson to make you some neat-o satchels. Once they've all been crafted, you can have Pearson craft a "super satchel" that holds a ludicrous number of items. It's definitely worth the effort.

  14. Just so you know. Any carcass, pelt or hide on your horse can be sold directly to any vendor, Pearson or the Trapper. In camp the horse just needs to be next to the hitching posts (it doesnt even need to be hitched) and for the others you just need to have your horse close by. You dont need to carry them through camp and hold them as you sell as long as it is stowed on your horse

  23. Great play through, I’ve been enjoying them quite a bit. During your travels remember to keep a lookout for plants and herbs. You can use them to craft helpful tonics that can use instead of always using your food. Herbs like mint, oregano and thyme can be combined with big game meat (wolves, alligators, bears, etc.) to fortify you cores (health, stamina, deadeye). You can also buy these tonics from the general store and the doctors office. Last thing, your cores can be increased to level eight. The higher your health core the more damage you can take, higher stamina means you won’t tire so easily or quickly, and of course higher deadeye extends your time.

If you want, return to Chez Porter, the place where you robbed the homestead with Javier, because there’s a loot box in the upper part of the barn with a good stash of cash there. And now you have to manually tag targets in dead eye using the R1(right bumper) button so you can more accurately get headshots.

  27. When you hold a weapon on a animal pressing R1 will tell you what weapon to use
    3 weeks off? Are you still at school?
    Before you rob a stagecoach rob 5 people in town
    I advice to stop asking questions you don’t want the answers to lest we spoil the story
    Hold D pad left for journal right for satchel, if you tap left it’ll bring up your tasks

  30. I love that you take very good care of your horse. I personally take the time between missions to pet them and brush them and feed them. It actually builds your horse's bond and with every level of trust you unlock new useful abilities when riding your horse

  34. 12:15 you know, it was actually Charles business. The American bison is the new U.S. national mammal, but its slaughter was once seen as a way to starve Native Americans into submission and so to make them looked bad in the public eye by blaming such carnage on them. So, bison were hunted to the brink of extinction by frontier whites.

  35. EDIT: You literally mentioned switching ammo types right after I posted the comment, BUT I stand by using Express over all except Explosive
    Not sure if there’s already a comment about the ammo, but high velocity is the worst (it’s the most expensive), while Express ammo increases damage and it’s the middle cost. I’d recommend stocking up on that kind just to help with the killing you get caught up in with the O’Driscolls and the law 🤣

  37. 30% progress seems very misleading, you're closer to like 10-12% done with the story AT MOST, seriously. Like another guy said, this is practically still the tutorial. If you really want to do the majority of side quests etc I'd say you're probably closer to 5% done time-wise… The series could end up being 70+ parts at this pace, but we're all here for it! And we love it. You're playing your first playthrough in the way that everyone else wished they had done. You'll have a very strong connection to the characters once things start to ramp up.
