  1. I always trimmed the sails, everyone else found it boring or tedious, eneded up being the ankor and trimmer for two groups of friends and always got the invites so was shotting up the level before suddenly i was legend befire anyone else

  2. The double raise strategy is great. However, videos like this are misleading. You don't just automatically put sail at a set position. You judge your sail position based on what your goals are.
I have met people who follow this strict protocol, and they have a hard time sinking me because I just get behind or in front of them. Be situational; you should always pay attention to where their sails are.
Adjusting your sail regularly also makes it more difficult for an enemy cannoneer to lock in their angle.
Overall, these are good tips if you're still trying to figure things out, just be cautious about following them without thinking about your situation/goals.
