They can somewhat control it. Not quite as a much as a square chute but you can pull on your straps for some measure of control. But no there are no Crocs in that water Georgia isn't as bad as Florida with crocs

Whilst I agree that being in the military does afford a level of criticism and jest toward the military in general, there are still times when joking and laughter are highly inappropriate, say for instance laughing or joking during a video depicting the highly solemn affair of burials at sea (whether actual or in training). To laugh at (or during) such a venerated tradition is nothing less than disrespectful, at the very least. There's a time and place for jest, and there are times when jesting is completely out of order and insensitive.
BTW, you always seem to start your videos with a dissertation concerning viewers complaining about you commenting during your videos. You've done it so often that I'd expect these alleged complaints to be quite prevalent, yet I haven't seen any such comments when I scroll down. Not to say they don't happen since I cannot possibly sit and scroll through every comment on every page, but I would've expected to see a lot more of them commensurate with how often you bring the subject up. I'm retired law enforcement and I do laugh at other cops, when they do something funny.
I don't sit and nitpick, second guess or laugh at every single police action I view because that just wouldn't make any sense. If it isn't funny, why laugh? That might suggest that I wasn't satisfied with the performance of my own duties as a police officer during my career.🤔 BTW, do you hold some sort of contempt or disdain for "Boomers" (AKA your elders)? Also, if you have to provide a disclaimer about being "disrespectful", chances are that you know very well you're being disrespectful.😉 Simply saying, "I'm not being disrespectful" doesn't make it come true. That aside, I do enjoy your videos when I have the time to sign in and watch them.😉👍

The front pack is a reserve chute. The inflatable things are under arm water wings that are integrated into a vest. Pilots wear them too.

Yes primary shoot and reserve in case of failure of the primary. Also most military parachutes are not steerable.
For the most part Air Force members try to stay in the plane. 😂

The interservice rivalry will always be around. I think the Coast Guard is happy with the baby brother the Space Force was formed, but no matter what when in the thick of it as long as it says US next to their service and giving cover, or the medics/cormon is near, they will be glad.

Crocs have pointed noses, Alligators have rounded noses. Crocs eat mainly fish, Alligators will eat basically ANYTHING they can get ahold of.
