  1. SEAL training is definitely the most difficult to do. Just doing the water training knocks most people out. Not taking anything away from the other SF. They are all bad ass mfers.

  2. There are US operators in Russia, you didn't think all that stuff was suddenly catching fire just from disgruntled citizens did you? There was news about this, It is verified by a reputable person but his source is still anonymous.

  4. I was a U.S. Army Special Forces "Green Beret" in the early 1970s. I've had the pleasure of working with many U.S. and foreign Special Operations units. The "Best" is difficult to define, because each unit has their own unique niche in which they excel, though some types of missions do overlap with other Special Operations units. The main thing to know is that for each unit, no one does what the do better than they do it. And as long as they are doing their job well, you will not know if they are actually in Ukraine or any other country where their skills are needed. Great reaction, thank you.

  5. Speaking of Marine Recon, I would recommend checking out Generation Kill – the best of major Sixta . The show is based on real recon marines but dramatized and that clip is one of the funniest from the show.

  6. Who cares honestly? The US soldiers were the ones killing babies and r*ping in Vietnam and gave our soldiers a bad name due to association with them. They lost every single battle in Vietnam. We (ANZAC’s) never lost a single battle. In the battle of Long Tan about 230 ANZAC’s faced off against about 2300 Vietcong. We had low ammo. We kept killing until we ran out, then called Air Strikes on our own position to take out the enemy. We won that battle. The Vietcong stated that it was afraid of Australians and we would never have a problem with them again. And the US lost that war. So idc about which US group is supposedly better. Our soldiers are better than theirs, fight harder, and when the Brits and Americans struggle to take out enemies in groups, they call us Aussies. We are amazing at Guerrilla Warfare. We go in and kill everyone in their sleep at night using stealth. So idc which garbage soldier is better in the US. Ours are better and nothing can change that. Not even American beliefs.

  7. A very elite group by a different definition than we have seen in this video are the old guard. It is a difficult unit to join and certainly with a very few are selected. This unit guards the tomb of the unknown solder. Space force is another group to look at.

  8. Im biased as I worked alongside Navy SF, I’d say SEALs, but, I think technically speaking, haha, Delta are the dudes. As y’all said, they’re selected from other groups so they’re beyond top tier. All the same, great dudes.

  9. Just in case people don't know, The Ranger Regiment is a Special Operations strike force, Ranger School is a training course that teaches tactics and infantry leadership skills.

  10. I had the honor of running across both Delta and SAS guys during my time in the Army. Both of them looked like people I would of laughed at while at a wal-mart. These dudes do not look like channing tatum or brad pitt. They look normal af but could probably kill you with a toothpick. The sas guy i saw was carrying starbucks, had a ponytail, skinny jeans, plaid shirt and flipflops. Dude was as hipster as id seen em.

  11. As we know it is Delta, because you have to be accepted from any other Branches’ SF and pass the selection process. Even ST6 isn’t Enough to guarantee your passage into Delta.

  12. The narrator said that Delta was the worst kept secret in the US Military. That's so true. I was stationed at Ft Bragg when the Chuck Norris movie came out. Delta Force was "rumored" to be based there.

We occasionally would go on PT (physical training) runs near a compound that was rumored to be part of their complex. It was probably BS… it was a little too accessible.

However, that they were somewhere on the base was essentially an open secret. We used to joke that if you see hard badass types with long hair on the base, probably Delta.

  13. There is no real one toughest unit. It all depends on what your personal strengths and weaknesses are. If you hate trudging through swamp for days, then Ranger would be hardest for you. If hate water, then it's SEALs. If you hate dealing with locals its Special Forces. If you hate combat triage, it's rescue PJs.

  14. The 20th anniversary of the launch of the Iraq war is March 19. No event of the past two decades connects the US/UK like the invasion and destruction of Iraq. I suggest this excellent documentary, free on Y–T. *Uncovered: The War on Iraq • FULL DOCUMENTARY • BRAVE NEW FILMS"

  15. A friend served in several special ops groups a few decades ago, in both the Marines and the Army, including Marine Recon and the Army Rangers. He said the Rangers was the hardest training and considered very elite. I also worked in joint service environment in my Army days and the Marine Recon stories I overheard were quite something. I found those guys equipped to handle pretty much anything but that said, the Rangers were far more intimidating and didn't really share many stories. When they did speak, EVERYbody shut up and listened.

  16. All of these groups have specialized training for their functions. But most of the special forces groups have joint service teams and work with other groups as needed. So "elite" might not be the best word when you mean "most specialized training" or "widest skill base". All of these groups are amazing at getting the job done and, to those saying you've never heard of this group or that one, that's kind of the point. Too much information about special ops groups paints a target on their back in the field. The more specialized your skill set is, the less known about it, the better.
