WHAT IF: Water Island Extraordinary! (Fan-Made)(My Singing Monsters)

Mermaqua Belongs To @RedIncisaur2004
Designed By @Monster Handler Koala
Sound Composed By @Goofy G’joob

Bio: long ago a group of Candelavra decided to abandon their label as the fire Quint and embrace the living ocean in hopes of becoming more water based creatures. Slowly but surely they evolved into the mermaqua, but not without trial. Many of them died out in the first few generations because well, fire quint.. going into the ocean… not really going to work out… ANYWAY they first began changing when a Candelavra was born with flippers. Everyone thought it was just a rare variant but eventually the changes became more extreme until the Mermaqua was brought into being. Now this sounds like a dream come true but because there were so few Candelavra left when the evolution was complete, Mermaqua are very few and far between. Many Mermaqua would be left all on their own with nobody to sing with and would die alone. The reason their so split up is because of a horrific thunderstorm that separated the tribe of Candelavra around the 1st quarter of the journey. But recently they’ve started flocking to water island and the number of Mermaqua in the monster world have skyrocketed! Nobody knows how but something attracted them all to water island and saved them front extinction. Maybe it was Epic Shellbeat? Maybe another monster known for braving the depths and the currents of the living ocean? We may never know… a perfectly happy ending but some of the Mermaqua have recently started yearning for fire and have planned to try to enter the living core to sort of go back to their roots. Some want to go back because they think water is gross. The ones disgusted by the water are the ones who were on the voyage in the first place, so be careful what you wish for! 1. Bio: The magnificent, or should I say, extraordinary mermaqua has found it’s new home underwater. You can rarely find mermaqua swimming at the top of the living ocean, so be on the lookout for that rare sight! This lovely creature feasts on the little to no light from the 84 suns in the monster world, which allows it to breathe through its grills (yes grills).
