  1. That thing in Sydney is the Sydney Opera House. It's supposed to look like the sails of a ship.

The architect who designed it was insulted and abused for his design, and had trouble getting paid for his work. Later he was awarded for the genius of the design

  2. Hey Ashleigh, nice reaction. Always fun seeing Howard The Duck, his own film back in 1986 was a flop. Guardians of the Universe indeed. Can't wait for Multiverse of Madness. Btw, UltroVision was a fantastic nemesis. The Multiverse is awesome, I just started reading a Marvel graphic novel involving the Thunderbolts: America Chavez, Gutsen Glory, Hawkeye, Power Man, Spectrum, and Persuasion. Monica Rambeau is also involved along with Abomination, Taskmaster, and Luke Cage, who became mayor after the Kingpin Wilson Fisk. There are two venom films as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special.

  3. Maybe you already know this, I couldnโ€™t be sure from your reaction, but Viva Las Vegas is the title of an old Elvis Presley movie musical & he sings the title song. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. We have seen pocket dimensions before – in Goose the flerken kitty. That's what allows him to devour beings and objects larger than himself and then cough them up later like hairballs.๐Ÿ˜ธ

  5. 23:07 is an awfully clever multilayered in-joke. First, Bernard in accounting asking after Peggy is a nod to, voice of The Watcher, Jeffrey Wright's other most well known role, Bernard Lowe in the show "Westworld". In that show, Lowe is a co-leader of an android populated theme park, whose job includes deep observation (watching) of park visitor interactions (hypothesized/executed in scenarios, much like what happens with the "What If" multiverses) with the androids (called hosts there) and exceptional work primarily with robotics, engineering, & technological advancement, all of which are mathematically inclined fields, as is Agent Bernard's field of accounting in "What If…". Second, both shows plots heavily involve artificial intelligences/androids who become self aware, philosophically questioning the status quo & eventually takes matters into their own hands (infinity gauntlet?) to a degree that affects humans & sentient life on a global scale. Third, I hesitate to explain here, as it's effectively spoilers for Bernard Lowe's background in "Westworld", however, if or when you get a chance to watch the show, it is utterly mindblowing & adds a tertiary layer to the mention of Agent Bernard here and the androids on "What If" . TL:DR. you have Agent Bernard named after another character that watches & deals with problematic A.I./androids, said agent works in a professional capacity with Peggy, romantically asking after her, where later she ends up working with The Watcher, whose actor played the namesake of the agent inquiring after Peggy, to deal with problematic A.I./androids.

And that''s just one of the many great references the writers/showrunners/creators have added, they get to have so much playful fun here and I'm enjoying every splendid second, as you appear to be doing so far.

  7. "I don't wanna see a sad episode." Too bad, you're gonna do it, and you're gonna like it.

Also, you have seemingly forgotten about Vision's origins, Hawkeye's wife, the Grandmaster and Arnim Zola. XD Among other things, probably. You really need to rewatch the older movies.

  8. I'd like to see What If step out of the MCU into some of the older Comic Books. Like a What If involving Captain Britain or something. What if we didn't get The Avengers and other characters stepped in.

  9. 13:38No he didn't… However, SHIELD did have that the cloaking technology on the Aircarrier, so: Adapting it to a cloak for individuals is something someone was going to figure out eventually.

15:24Because in Infinity War, Vision was stabbed through the chest from the start and never came across Thanos until Thanos brought him back from the dead to collect the mind stone. In other words, he never got the chance to do it; plus, Vision is not the kind of person who would out right kill someone like that, unless he had no other choice, Ultron has no such qualms!

  11. Okay, so the obsessive nerd in me wants to say that Thor's Hammer wouldn't be able to pin Captain Marvel (or anyone else) down since, in this reality/universe/variant timeline/whatever, Thor's Hammer was never enchanted by Odin. The only reason it was in the main timeline of the MCU is because Thor violated Odin's trust and the peace between Frost Giants and Asgardians…

… Buuuuuuuut the part of me that loves seeing Thor's corner of the MCU become a 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' parody is just happy to enjoy the ride!
