This is so timely for me and good. Thank you Bro.Heartsill. My brother became very upset with me about 2 years ago. I sent him a text and apologized for hurting him. He just sent me a letter apologizing to me and telling me he forgives me. I have been praying for him and his wife and family. He is on a different path than I am concerning the Lord. I believe you have summed up 2 Thessalonians 1:4-6. The acts of evil aimed at us, are actually against God. Because we are his children, he will protect us and punish our tormentors, but if they don't repent. I remember one of the few times I heard the voice of God, when I was attacked by brother in Christ and responded in kind, the Lord told me ”i have given you many gifts, but wrath is not one of them.” I slumped back and apologized to him. Excellent lesson again!
