I wished you pressed him a little harder on certain things he said. Buuuut you showed great stoic behavior lol
I KNEW i would love this interview!!!! I've had MANY Biblical arguments with Trent Horn 🤣🤣🤣 I love listening to him! If we ever had a conversation, it would be really long. I don't agree with Catholic doctrine and traditions; there would be much digital Interlinear page turning and lots of questions. I was discussing right along with you both. He leans so heavily on tradition and dogma. As much as I disagree with a lot of what He says, Trent is fascinating to listen to and knows so much church history and where Catholicism got it's roots and traditions. I have much respect for him. Thank you Ruslan and Trent!!!! Awesome interview!!!!! Maybe one day he'll let me interview him for my channel 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 PS….I believe he's my brother in Christ despite our major doctrinal differences. And YES i vote for part 2
Trent’s a good dude. His arguments are always sound
To know that I have a holy family who is watching and praying for me is such a beautiful thing where I used to be so purely against asking for prayers of Saints. I love my faith. 🙌🏽 All glory to God for bringing me here. Also this was a good discussion and I look forward to more even if we still have disagreements. I think it’s good to at least come to understandings and see why someone believes a certain way.
This was truly an awesome interview, I just feel ruslan could have really push back so hard. I don't agree with the catholic doctrine at all. And I felt like ruslan was mostly listening and agreeing with him, and i would have loved to have heard him push back.. Besides that this was a great interview i thought.
What’s weird is by his logic, it’s okay to not have sex as a form of birth control but using non-medical forms such as a condom would not be okay? But by his whole “controlling when you have babies is telling God & the child no” then how is any different???

Thanks for being open to discuss these topics with Trent
Many Protestants hate Catholics and don't even know why. So much false info/ Conspiracy theories has been spread about Catholicism since the Reformation. I experienced this personally being raised in the Baptist denom.
Catholic Truth is a Channel I think you would also find interesting- Bryan is also a great apologist.
This cat buggin
Hallelujah
Yes the full video. Will you have more Catholics on the show?
Very interesting, yet… am I alone in thinking nobody agrees on any passage! Catholics, protestant, pentecostal, plus 300k other religious groups. Get ten in a room, all 10 will argue. Nonetheless it's riveting, I just find The Bible hard, very hard to grasp. God bless your fam 🙏
Too human focused. God triumphs; we don't triumph. Saying something as if it's deep doesn't make it deep
This guy needs to get saved
As a Gnostic, I am the ONLY true Christian here. Everyone else her is a follower of Constantine (The anti-Christ) and the Counsil of Nicaea. You people know nothing of the Gnostic texts or even the Apocrypha books.
The evil reign of the big churches has begun to be over, and I know that you all will become truly awakened and born again the real way when you learn the truth.
Christ is IN YOU! You are "I AM"! You must save yourself! Stop waiting for salvation! Stop supporting the great lie! The fruits of the church are death and suffering. WAKE UPPP!!!!!
I love you.
Roman catholic church does not have a monopoly on the word, “Catholic “… So the Catholic Church is God’s Universal Church, and the Roman Catholic Church, is the body of Catholic believers that adhere to the ordinances of the pope.
6 weeks after having a baby what do you do? You rub one out and move on. She's going to be back in the game in no time. Heres something to consider prostate enlargement as men age the rate goes up way more until by 70 its almost 70-85 percent of men. Getting off a couple times a day or 1 time a day greatly reduces that about 50 percent. Prostate cancer is one of the most expensive medical treatment I believe one of the medicines can cause $400,000 a year or you can prevent it by getting off more frequently. Diet and exercise is huge in everything physical health wise.
As a Protestant Christian, it's hard for me to view rhe Catholic church as anything but a cultish breeding ground for works-based legalism and a breeding ground for mass p e do pH I Lia. The abuse of the priesthood and idolatry of Mary, as well of the atrocities that so many innocent children have been subjected to makes it very hard for me to believe that God has anything to do with the Catholic church.
This was even more painful with context. At times I wanted more pushback, but sometimes just letting the guest have their way does more to convince than confrontation.
I wish I could say something without having 50 different Catholic people trying to verbally throw hands😂
Did Catholics change their doctrine of the Eucharist? Trent said the church speaks of having the "Full Presence" of Jesus in the Eucharist but this is not the Catholic doctrine of years ago. The Church believed in the doctrine of "Transubstantiation" which is NOT THAT. It is this doctrine which defines the catholic position. It says that the Eucharist is Transformed into the literal body and blood of Christ. The Full Presence is a Lutheran concept.
Trent Horn is great. Brant Pitre is my favorite Catholic teacher
He should become a defense attorney if apologetics doesn't work out. He said Martin Luther's problem with indulgences- Is they would not say any of the prayers and just give money. It became transactional. SO they accepted money for indulgences without prayer it became transactional. So in short they were selling indulgences?
He basically reworded it and said it in a way that everyone was like oh yeah that makes sense. Martin Luther was Just worried they were complicit lol. So by that Ruslan nailed it with complicit as in illegal activity or for Christians ungodly activity.
"first church' is the church that is recorded in the New Testament, especially in the Book of Acts and the Epistles of Paul. The New Testament church is the "original church and the "one true church." We can know this because it is described, in great detail, in Scripture. The church, as recorded in the New Testament, is God's pattern and foundation for His church. On this basis, let's examine the Roman Catholic claim that it is the "first church." Nowhere in the New Testament will you find the "one true church doing any of the following: praying to Mary, praying to the saints, venerating Mary, submitting to a pope, having a select priesthood, baptizing an infant, observing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper as sacramernts, or passing on apostolic authority to successors of the apostles. All of these are core elements of the Roman Catholic faith. If most of the core elenments of the Roman Catholic Church were not practiced by the New Testament Church (the first church and one true church), how then can the Roman Catholic Church be the first church? A study of the New Testament will clearly reveal that the Roman Catholic Church is not the same church as the church that is described in the New Testament.
The New Testament records the history of the church from approximately A.D. 30 to approximately A.D. 90. In the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th centuries, history records several Roman Catholic doctrines and practices among early Christians. Is it not logical that the earliest Christians would be more likely to understand what the Apostles truly meant? Yes, it is logical, but there is one problem. Christians in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th centuries were not the earliest Christians. Again, the New Testament records the doctrine and practice of the earliest Christians…and, the New Testament does not teach Roman Catholicism. What is the explanation for why the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th century church began to exhibit signs of Roman Catholicism? The answer is simple the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th century (and following) church did not have the complete New Testament. Churches had portions of the New Testament, but the New Testament (and the full Bible) were not commonly available until after the invention of the printing press in A.D. 1440. The early church did its best in passing on the teachings of the apostles through oral tradition, and through extremely limited availability to the Word in written form. At the same time, it is easy to see how false doctrines could creep into a church that only had access to the Book of Galatians, for example. It is very interesting to note that the Protestant Reformation followed very closely after the invention of the printing press and the translation of the Bible into the common languages of the people. Once people began to study the Bible for themselves, it became very clear how far the Roman Catholic Church had departed from the church that is described in the New Testament.
Council of kelsidon when Pope Leo reads that letter people cheer Peter has spoken. Yeah if the Pope is reading a letter they're Roman Catholic. See he learned people don't know what he's saying and try to pass it off. Literally the Pope was reading a letter so I'm guessing the audience was Catholic.
Basically he uses church history to establish his doctrines / dogmas. Not the bible.
anyone got timestamps?
“Natural family planning” or in others words … Purposely being intimate only on days where fertility is less likely… seems like your just looking for a loophole for your belief to me. Kinda like scrolling through pics on instagram of woman in bikinis… but then saying “They’re not technically naked, so it’s ok”…
“The” Church … is the congregation of all Believers…the Body of Christ.
It seems that Mr. Trent mostly uses outside writings to justify the Papacy and Roman Catholic Church’s authority…from people and authority figures from Roman times… not The Bible. Of course leaders in Ancient Roman time will legitimize their own leader, the Pope.
