  1. Sending positive thoughts to the family.
Cruise lines get a negative review because of stupid people doing stupid things.
Number of years ago, we had just boarded a HAL ship, our routine was dump the stuff and head for Lido deck aft to get a table behind the Pizza and Salad station outside, nice secluded place that very few people knew about. Story starts. We were enjoying our solitude when a family of 4 kids discovered our spot, ok fine they were just enjoying the spot. After a few minutes I noticed one of the kids, maybe 5, had climbed up the side railing and was on the outside of the ship. As my brain was trying to say, itโ€™s 90 feet to the water, ship personnel came through the door. One person was focused on the kid, he grabbed the kid by the angle and waist, yanked him to safety. The others ship personal took the parents and remaining kids away. I only assume they were kicked of the ship.
Point Iโ€™m trying to make, we must take responsibility!

  2. A 12-year-old cannot fall off the balcony unless he was doing something he shouldnโ€™t have been doing like climbing over the balcony standing on a chair, trying to get a selfie sitting on the balcony all of the things.

  3. Nobody should be commenting on what they think happened. Fact is most of us donโ€™t know what happened. Think of it from his families point of view. Can you imagine reading the comments posted? It would be very upsetting and may not even be true. As the presenter said, keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. No matter how it happened it is a tragedy that we all hope will never be repeated.
