  1. I think that "a pair of sausages" is common terminology in Europe (at least in Germany it is). 😉 When sausages are made, they are usually hung in a pair throughout the process (2 sausages connected at one end). In a restaurant or markets sausages are often served as a pair.

  2. I used to rock climb and all kinds of stuff and be fearless, although if I had known that there was going to be mass hysteria over pain pills in the future, I wouldn't have been. People have been taking their lives because it is the only way to escape from chronic pain, and in Canada, the disabled are having the government do it for them because they no longer have enough to survive. It only takes one injury to completely destroy your life, and nobody cares unless it happens to them. They simply add insult to injury.

  3. He there Riley and family! A nerdy note here; this guy out in Britain built a trimaran from a smokestack. His channel is called sailing SV pipe dream and he came up with a pretty unique design. Thought you might like it.

  4. As a Minnesotan (U.S. state bordering Canada), I can PROMISE you seeing snow for the first time after not seeing it for a while NEVER gets old. For many of us, the first snowfall of the season is always so magical and fun. Even though we have to get out our shovels and snow blowers and all the accoutrements of a cold, snowy winter, a lot of us are just as tickled to see snow as you Aussies are! I love to see you enjoying a cold climate and how enthusiastic you are about the whole experience. Many people find the cold to be nothing but miserable and I really appreciate the good PR 😉 Thanks!!

  5. Is it a ship?

    No it’s a ship.

😂 🥰🥰🥰 your littles are so cute!!!

Also loving this documentary style and the random facts. 😊

And I love that Larry keeps making an appearance. What are the chances that he’d be sailing with you? That just gives more meaning and depth (in my opinion) to this whole experience for you guys. His ties to the area, the contrast of his age and your littles on the same voyage, you and Riley having the experience of being passengers on such a different vessel and in such a contrast to the climate you are more accustomed to.

Beautiful story telling and I’m so glad to be here for it. 🥰🥰🥰
