Mirage is a bit lazy but looks like they're learning how to walk again so I'm hopeful for shadows
"Shadows" might also reflect how real life ninja were more like the Assassin's Creed than most think – the ninja were mercenary spies Japanese nobles hired to do reconnaissance on enemies, and they used all of the same tactics as modern-day spies.

maybe the 9 – 22 sign is just a normal street sign to signify the road as a walking street between 9am and 10pm. just a thought tho. These types of signs definitely don't exist in europe where im from (yes they do)

I feel like I'm the only one not excited by the setting. Japan is already very established and represented in games, far more interested in new, fresher settings.
