My 2008 451 is £20 tax. The colour of a smart is the tridion colour mine is black so on the logbook the colour is black no matter what colour the panels are. Looking forward to the Smart videos😊

Colab with Jon Coupland and his Dad. He's rebuilt his Smart engine and now has gearbox issues. Seems to be an 'easy' job to drop the whole sub frame out.
I had a 03 Smart and drove it up and down the motorway from Nottingham to London several times. No issues
Excellent love the smart Ian , had mine form new 17years and it's still going strong.. it's my go-to car had some great road trips in it 👌 folk don't realise how practical they are … just watch out for pot holes 👍 it's 19 years I think, 05plate anyway 🤦♂️
regarding the damp unit, cut in some sliding brick vents at the opposite end to the doors to create a permanent through draught. close them when you're working in there. also useful in summer

My Smart was called Smarticus.. it had a mild chip.upgrade, twin centre exist exhaust and adjustable Bilstein suspension. Despite this it still couldn't keep up with a standard 205 on a twisty road! I found the gearbox complaints to be greatly exaggerated.
