  1. I'm glad to hear that Beard is a Dragon Ball fan. Goku's cloud is called the nimbus in the English dub, and kinto-un in the original Japanese. I write non-fiction books about the culture, history, and fandom of Dragon Ball for a living. It's always a pleasure to meet another fan!

  2. Having bolters etc being able to wound vehicles is good, fives to wound is that nice sweet spot of will chip a couple off, do something, but probably not take down a vehicle. I hope we don’t go back to the days where people weren’t able to take mechanised forces because sometimes you just couldn’t damage them at all

  3. I hate the leaks too, even worse are certain YouTube channels that spread it even further, they thrive on leaks, meaning GW have to release early, and I end up having it spoiled to me regardless 😂

  4. Instead of using different dice, use more dice. We already do it for a bunch of stuff. Make vehicles roll 2d6 for their saves – adding them up. Shoot, don't even change their values – make 2+ automatically save against AP0 (you can't roll a 1 on 2d6!). Make S8+ take away one of the dice. We already have Ramshackle as a rule! Or don't do that, and just make their saves slightly worse, so there's always a small chance of failure.

    Of course, knowing GW, they would do this and then introduce weapons with like AP-7 to counter a "problem" of their own making. Then, when everything in the game is AP-7, they make Super Invulnerable saves or something, I don't know. I'm just saying, they seem to prefer adding rules to rules instead of taking stuff away.

  5. I don't know if a radical redesign is what the game needs for vehicles. Even just adding a point of Toughness to all the ones that are only T7 would help the situation a lot. It stops them being pinged to death by the large proportion of S4 basic armaments in the game.
