  1. I feel like you need to use your bombers sparingly, ie concentrating them for a big attack instead of sending them a few flights at a time.

With this much aircraft losses Japan might run out of experienced pilots before 1943 haha😅

  3. Really nice work on that BB task force! There is an algorithm for the game to decide that a task force needs to retreat. I'm unclear on the specifics, but sinking two of the capital ships and damaging some of the others was apparently enough. That task force retreated without carrying out their bombardment or troop landing mission.

  4. Remember that any large group of destroyers and/or light cruisers should be seen as a troop transport task force, and attacked accordingly. This can be frustrating because destroyers are tricky to sink, especially on the IJN side with no rockets. Still, better to sink those ships than to allow them to deliver their troops. This is one job that may be better suited to a surface fleet than aircraft.

  5. When you saw those search planes appearing to the south of Guadalcanal, think about what, on the USN side, is capable of launching such planes? There is probably a cruiser task force operating somewhere south of Guadalcanal. With that many planes, it may be another battleship group.

  6. Yea, in first two weeks, I sunk the Yamato, and within THREE weeks, I saw the Musashi!!! Problem was, when I torped her from a sub, I did a 2 or 3 percent spread, and hit the stem to stern, and two more on the opposite side, and she didn't sink! Grrrrrr Well done, can't wait to try the IJN Campaign!

  7. Awesome vid as always. Loving the series!. Definitely think the subs and aircraft are doing awesome job. I know you said probably not going to use, but wouldn't even a small fleet of some Kongo BBs with a cruiser or two be worth it, especially if attacking aircraft get low?
