I didn't know that the "Donkies" were actually Koba's former followers. The more you know.
Bad ape is boc the seamster. I'm sure of it. He even has an almost identical backstory. Never that they look almost exactly alike too .
Maybe it's just me but I thought this was the weakest one of the trilogy. I didn't enjoy it pass the first 30 minutes. It felt disconnected like 2 different movies. Them capturing the apes and not completely annihilating them didn't make any sense, as well as Nova being comfortable around her father's killers. I ultimately found it boring.

"Motion" has never truly been the best way to describe the process of capturing… the performance… that is being put in! Early on the processing power probably couldn't really capture the performance… So motion capture, or mo-cap was a great term to use for this. but not anymore! Performance Capture is the BEST set of words to use when speaking of what should be previously known as Mo-Cap. Performance Capture is the new term to use!
I really hope that the new movie is a continuation of this one in the future some time and not a reboot cause I really loved this trilogy

I finally figured out why I never wanted to watch these movies. if you took all the great apes in the world you could probably fit them in one or two stadiums…. there are 8 billion humans.
