    I believe you possibly misinterpret America First. It is the same as your America Only. Much as MAGA is maligned/twisted to mean white supremacy/nationalism.

  9. Andrew, I hope somehow you read this comment so you will know how much I appreciate and agree with what you had to say about Philip Marlowe and toughness. There was a scene in The Big Sleep that always stands out for me. He returns to his apartment to find a naked girl in his bed. A lesser man would’ve taken the opportunity offered. Marlowe, angry that she had insulted him and violated his space threw her out.

  23. "She could know its a lie and still believe it."- No. That strikes me as impossible. She could want you to believe the lie, know it's a lie, and put on a convincing performance for the easily manipulated and weak-minded, but I would contend that it is impossible to know that something is a lie and still believe it, since belief is a mental process. If a person convinces himself that a lie is true, that is not the same thing.
