  1. Dying cars is easy but some paints are better for dying than others such as metal-flake paints, especially silver, but enamel paints will dye but the results aren't as good a metal-flake paint. Also if you get your dye really hot, which works well but the excessive heat of your solution can melt the plastic windows so, less heat and longer stay in the dye. Cold water dying could take days but then your axels will rust. Lastly you make need to tape off the rims of your car cause the dye will color the rims too. Not always a good look, dyed rims. I would get the water hot enough to hurt if you dip your finger in but not so hot you would scold yourself. 150 degree water? you can use stuff called Rit and says its for t-shirts or fabric but it can stain almost anything. i use a paperclip as a hook to dip it in and out so you can check on its process till you think its enough. only takes a couple minutes with a hot dye dip.

  2. I'm so glad you liked everything, like Pete said, when you got almost every Mustang it's hard to find what you need. That's why I sent the Greenlight now even though we didn't make the deal for a trade yet. It just looks so cool it had to be in your collection. Glad you liked the custom too, a guy does them for our diecast show each month. 😊

  3. I'm one of those that doesn't have a Tail Dragger, have yet to find one in a colorwave I like. That Racing Champions Mach 1 is a beauty, same spec as the 1 in the original Gone in 60 seconds movie. Awesome custom by Pete too! Great mailcall man, enjoy your weekend!
