  1. The Roman empire thought it was a joke. A battalion of ducks, threatening their great empire? They'd humor these ducks by showing up to the battle, knowing it would be an easy victory. I mean look at them – they even have cute little duck-sized helmets. Too adorable!
But little did they know, the ducks had something incredible on their side that the Romans couldn't even fathom.
The ducks had a mighty deity, who, as luck would have it, had an extremely soft spot for the quacking waterfowl.
And thus, the ducks claimed their victory.

  2. 1:34:50 Actually, Vinny, Barry Lyndon doesn't take place anywhere near the Napoleonic wars (1790's to 1815), but actually takes place in the 1750's, closer to the Seven Year's War. The tactics and strategies of then vs. the Napoleonic age are vastly different and the Napoleonic Wars as a whole weren't very gentlemanly at all.

  3. I never thought I’d say this, but this is way more epic than Vinny’s Mario or pizza content. I am laughing hysterically right along with Vinny through this. Long live the Battle Ducks and Juice Men!

  4. If you told me that a 50 foot hen covered in carnage would be one of the coolest things I could ever witness, I'd have called you a liar and a fool. Turns out it was I who was the fool.

  5. The wizardy this game uses is called GPU Instancing, which allows a model to be drawn repeatedly in many locations while only using a single draw call. Mix that with LOD models and it's extremely fast.
This is probably the best game I've seen that really is using GPU Instancing to great effect. (that isn't just a tech demo, anyway)
