That taco bell joke shouldn't have made me laugh
Vin I appreciate you looking up the lore to try and gain a greater understanding, but I think you're far too early in the game to be doing that, the frenzied flame and the three fingers hasn't even been mentioned by anyone you've encountered yet for example…
Vinny, if you want to respec please don't neglect Arcane since your upgraded Bloody Twinblade's bleed effect depends on Arcane
Also greater Arcane means greater Discovery, which means greater drop rate from enemies
CLIMB UP THE STAIRS CLIMB UP THE
I bet the one gaming youtuber that decides to upload anything other than Eldin Ring will get tons of views and subs, I haven't even played it yet and I'm bored of seeing it.. An elix 2 or Dying Light 2 series, anything hopefully people start playing the new FF stranger of paradise next week.
i think the point about wanting at least a Little guidance in the game is well warranted tbh. players love the freedom to explore, but players also hate feeling at a loss for what to do or where to go. a game isnt fun and enjoyable when u feel like ur unable to play it. an open world game benefits the most from having at least a little guidance, because regardless of it the player can still choose to do anything else they want to. obviously it doesnt feel great to have everything handed to u, but i think there should at least be options to have that. its also especially useful for disabled players and players who just want to play casually and enjoy guidance, so honestly i think at the very least it would be beneficial for players to be able to opt in or out of having more help, like some sort of toggle or even some sort of equivalent of a "hint button". also, i know this game has been endlessly compared to botw, but honestly i think botw did a pretty decent job at the right amount of guidance in an open world game. i feel like this game would benefit from something similar, though maybe slightly less, just to maintain the "challenge" and still make it so players dont feel so lost. no matter how challenging a game is supposed to be, ur game isnt good if ur players cant navigate it without constantly feeling frustrated
Vin Blaidd's accent is welsh, not scottish. Actually quite a few welsh in the game, like that downtrodden mage who got locked out of the academy, and Iji.
I'd recommend looking into where to get the arsenal charm for higher equip load
It has an annoying requirement of talking to a certain NPC (Nepheli) before defeating Godrick though, not even sure if talking once is enough or if you needed to talk multiple times, but I looked through the footage on part 3 and I don't think you met her either way
So I guess you should read up on how to get Arsenal +1 then, Arsenal +2 is locked behind three 'hard' fights
Other than that, Erdtree Favor talisman you got in part 2(?) is a 5% boost, which is not worthless but inferior
The worst part about that Ubisoft dev throwing shade at elden ring is that he provided no actual criticism or ideas to make the game better, he was just being resentful of other's success
4:42:07 vinnys best dodge ever
It's gonna kill me a little inside if Vinny actually has to google how to get into the academy, after picking up the map, and knowing he has the map but not taking the time to find it, even if it means looking at every single item in his inventory for 5 minutes.
Vinny basically has a mysterio build

I find it annoying how elitist fromsoft fans can be shunning those who find easier ways to experience the game. They seem to miss the fact that to get the op shit you gotta grind too. For example in my playthrough i was playing normally till I heard how easy it was to get night and flame. So i go get it but mind you the sword requires stats which I didnt had at the time. So im leveling normally for a while and then i reach the 80k dragon, cheese it and even then I still didnt have the stats required to use the thing. When i finally got the stats… guess what? it wasnt that strong cuz you gotta upgrade it to like +5 to make it worth it. So yeah, you bet ur ass im gonna be using that shit on every boss cuz it took me that long to make it worth it
3:43:30 not to just dunk on vinny or whatever and i do agree that some navigation and quests are a little too vague sometimes, but he picked up a map for the glintstone key, scrolled past the map multiple times in his inventory, and stopped looking for it lol. Just a little silly brainrot. Happens to us all.
people probably said already but in the cringefolk dungeon, the way up to that item (and more very exciting stuff!) is in that room with the 2 many-armed dudes that you tried to cheese with the fire trap in the first stream. there's a ledge you can drop down to in that room. when you get up to that ledge, try bow!
Soulsborne fans are the worst about backseating and judging you for using summons and telling you that you didn't beat the game the "right" way. It's obnoxious how many people on the internet are anti-magic already and whine and bitch about how broken magic is.
I personally beat one of the hardest end game secret bosses without summons and now having done that, I would never do it again as she obviously was designed with summons in mind. It took me about 3 hours of trying at level 125, and at times it was downright torturous. There's no shame in summoning in Elden Ring as it was definitely designed for its use.
I know all that's been said and done on the subject but I genuinely think youd be SHOCKED how easily you'd defeat those rooftop gargoyles now that you've done a few other FromSoft titles. seriously the biggest flaw of DS1 is just that it's hard to get into, but now that you're over the fromsoft hump, I really think you'd be able to appreciate it just as much as Bloodborne.

What is this tarnished doing? Well i'm not in the mood right now so i will just let him le-AAAAHHHHHHHH WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT I DIDN'T EVEN WANTED TO- dies
4:42:09
Lmao you got the spider sense xdxdxd
If you buy the amulet off of prawn dude he becomes a third summon for the magma wyrm fight. I basically stood back the whole time while my summons just tore it apart lol.
Vinny PUH-LEASE fuck up my youtube feed with Elden Ring, go right ahead
I don't know how to put this. So, I guess I'll just say it. Watching these videos is like coming home. I'm already home, but like… I'm * more * home when I'm watching this particular playthrough. How does that happen?
Vinny if you haven't already, you can obtain one of the most powerful swords in the game, look for the sword of night and flame, it's in the caria manor.
There's plenty of pointers. Maybe they are overlooked sometimes. Peace and Love. You had the map to get into Big Ray's Academy all along binnyad.
i think you press the skill button a second time on that 2 handed blade for that disappearance move idk
1:22:37 it increases there health but that doesn't really matter if the boss just has aggro on the summon the whole time, so no not really. Doesn't matter though, I find summons super fun
Very minor spoiler / some advice for Seluvis sidequest
A warning about Seluvis's potion, whenever you actually can give the potion to Nepheli, don't. Give it to the guy in the next room over reading books, Gideon. Seluvis drugs people and turns them into dolls, but if you talk to Gideon, you can complete Seluvis's quest without drugging Nepheli. Best result imo.
BRUH it takes at least 3 days to watch 7 8 9 hour videos lol but you owe me for sitting through all 4 of em 😩😴 but for real good shits
Preceptor Miriam can rot in the deepest part of hell.
