  1. poorly played game at the end of regulation does not warrant a 'game of the year honor..so poorly played I stopped watching it…but, that's me, I don't like mistake-prone play

  2. During that first catch the receiver never had complete control of the ball…the defender AND he both had a hand on the ball, all the way down to the ground…so how does that work with calling it a completion? Refs are SO fickle!

  3. I'll never understand why Buffalo ran a sneak…. on their own goal line. Like….. what? And I mean like ON their goal line. This play makes about as much sense as the Seahawks NOT rushing it in the super bowl v. the Patriots…. on the PATRIOTS goal line….. well… compared to this I guess it would more accurately be said NEAR the Patriots goal line. This play is pretty on the damn goal line….. like they have a full 100 yard field in front of them and 10 yards for a 1st down. QB sneaks are reserved for when there's <1 yard in front of you to the end zone or 1st down marker.

I'm just floored they called a sneak. I mean at best it "works"….. and they get maybe 1 yard…. so they'd then be on the 1.2 yard line. Even if Allen fields it cleanly I think he's getting TFL'd here for a safety. Maybe they called it for that reason? Gain a yard, great… clock's still rolling. Safety… whatever. Minnesota still down and only has like 35-40 seconds to get in field goal range after the free kick (punt) kickoff. Why not throw a screen pass…. odds are you'd be facing a blitz…. someone would be wide open. Then kneel out the clock.

Just a dumb play IMO….. and I have no horse in this race. If this play was called in the super bowl it would be living in infamy just like the Seahawks- Patriots super bowl defining play that made no sense whatsoever.

  4. Great game only to pull an absolute stinker against the cowboys the following week! Wish the Vikings would stop thinking these games are there Super Bowl. And not show up the following game

  5. Insane athleticism, a 4 down goal line stand *chef's kiss*, a dramatic fumble, a few poor times to commit penalties, and a bad no call. Truly, a wild game. You can't ask for much more drama on the field

  6. As a lifelong Vikings fan, this was the most exciting game I’ve ever watched. Yes, I watched the “Minneapolis Miracle” against the Saints and thought that was amazing. But this was 10x crazier. The Minneapolis Miracle was ONE play. This was a sequence of insane plays like I’ve never seen before. Really fun to watch!!

Are the Vikings gonna win the SB? Most likely no. In fact, if I were a betting man, I’d bet against them. But damn, they gave us one of the best games (maybe THE best) I’ve ever witnessed.

  7. I always wondered what would happen if Seattle caused a fumble or safety like the one here in the Super Bowl after the Malcolm Butler interception. Cool to see a game where it actually happened
