Can you guys please do your reaction to the Bard Illusion scene from the Dungeons and Dragons movie?
16:29 yem 😅
Would be cool if you guys could break down The One with Jet Li. It was the movie that planted the seed of VFX for me. Amazing at the time some of the fight scenes were.
But when you are talking about the AI lighting in Davinci, would it have been made ( programmed so fast after the movie came out ) if they hadnt made it practically for the movie, IE done it to show it can be done, and then some programmers thought "Hey that is a good idea, let us see if we can't copy it digitally" ??
That Thor stroboscope stuff is epic. Period
ayo speaking of water idk if they covered it but it would be great if they looked into how the last scene of Narnia Voyage of the Dawn Treader was done!
Allblack is a symbiote like Venom.
You Should breakdown the best VFX Bollywood movie "Bhramastra"
I had an idea for a way to film stock assets where you would have a screen behind your object that would flash from black to white in time with the camera frames so that every frame would have a black and a white background variant. Using that you could composite translucent objects like hair or mesh dresses. All you would have to do is set the blending setting to darken for the white background and lighten for the black background.
Another one for my list of ideas that are cool but I will never have the resources to experiment with
18:22 yea like acting.
today's quote of the day: "Google got so useless nowadays"
well… yes
It is called acting, right? Strange world, I guess.
FYI Vessi shoes fucking suck. No arch support. Your feet will hurt.
Speaking of old FX, you should look at the George Pal War of the Worlds from 1953.
Those arent polymorphs but wildshapes
The Little Mermaid. Please
2:30 The Fast and the Furry: Neverwinter Drift.
Why don't you react bhrāmastra part 1 and adipurush (bollywood)
Sourcename, my favourite film company
Zohan was a great movie… explain how they did the cat-hackysack or phantoms chick in a cup drink!
Idk if they’ve done it, but with the whole dnd work they’ve been doing, I would love to see them play the cyberpunk ttrpg
That Ten Commandments bit reminded me, you guys should check out the walking on water scene from The Chosen season 3 episode 8. It's the first time that's ever looked real to me.
Oh and the actors actually fit a middle eastern profile fyi 😂😅
The movie was dope, but not going to support a company that was going to pass an OGL filled with lies and deception. Let Wizards of the Coast rot.
Guys if you haven’t already pls look at falling skies it has Spielberg as a producer season 2 episode 7 the mech chase around the 7 minute mark is horrible
Ah man. You like teased the melting illusion of Chris Pine’s face, but then never went into it :(. Out of all the effects from that movie, that was by FAR the most entertaining to watch. Probably one of the easiest to generate…but just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s lackluster. Bummer. But you guys are amazing of course ; who am I to criticize.
VFX artists so enamoured with the Zohan swimming that they fail to notice how bad the continuity of the background of the swimming scene is.
