  1. But when you are talking about the AI lighting in Davinci, would it have been made ( programmed so fast after the movie came out ) if they hadnt made it practically for the movie, IE done it to show it can be done, and then some programmers thought "Hey that is a good idea, let us see if we can't copy it digitally" ??

  2. ayo speaking of water idk if they covered it but it would be great if they looked into how the last scene of Narnia Voyage of the Dawn Treader was done!

  3. I had an idea for a way to film stock assets where you would have a screen behind your object that would flash from black to white in time with the camera frames so that every frame would have a black and a white background variant. Using that you could composite translucent objects like hair or mesh dresses. All you would have to do is set the blending setting to darken for the white background and lighten for the black background.
Another one for my list of ideas that are cool but I will never have the resources to experiment with

  4. That Ten Commandments bit reminded me, you guys should check out the walking on water scene from The Chosen season 3 episode 8. It's the first time that's ever looked real to me.

Oh and the actors actually fit a middle eastern profile fyi 😂😅

  6. Ah man. You like teased the melting illusion of Chris Pine’s face, but then never went into it :(. Out of all the effects from that movie, that was by FAR the most entertaining to watch. Probably one of the easiest to generate…but just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s lackluster. Bummer. But you guys are amazing of course ; who am I to criticize.
