  1. Nice! Adding some extra battles and having reflect was the best thing that happened to Venomoth in this run, and that kind of gave it the edge it needs to be ranked at the genger tier, that was an interesting idea, because it kind of has the right balance of not being over leveled, and it's pretty close to minimum battles.
These extra battles showed how venomoth was struggling in the mid game, compared to your first attempt with it, and that's a pretty interesting aspect to a solo run. 🤔
Also, I really liked the stream format, I can't wait to see your next run. Keep up the good work! 😊

  2. What a cool strategy, as Venomoth's learnset allowed you to improve its performance with pretty little additional effort while keeping the run smooth and simple. Nonetheless, in your spreadsheet you typed out FIVE optional battles instead of SIX, so your score is a little off (I assume it'll still be well beyond 90…). Finally I would like to point out that if your goal isn't speed per se then the real time column must not be included into your point calculation until you ensure a pretty consistent way to navigate the overworld and carefully asess your execution errors, as those add unnecesary randomness that would impact the metric and won't allow you to objectively compare Pokémon-only related performances (even if they're like 15-20 second delays between mistakes they would add up pretty quickly). Best regards!

  3. Oh boy. Paves the way for numerous runs for every pokemon, seeing if marginally different strategies reduce inconsistency. Might end up with half a dozen or more different runs for some. Makes the RNG inherent in resets an issue, I guess. Although that probably does more or less even out over an entire run.
