I'm an Eldar fan, but I really hate when the authors use "Primal ooze" as their go to line for how old it is. Because, no, "primal ooze" or primordial soup was some 3.7 BILLION years ago. Which is far more than 60 million years. 60 million years ago our ancestors were some of the earliest mammals, rodent like and exploding in population and dominance after the dinosaurs got smacked.
A far more logical line would be "When your forebears were but rodents, crawling in the muck to escape far greater beasts" or something along those lines.
War in Heaven should he a new game. I mean we could have Lizardmen in space, Necrons at their height, Krork, Eldar at full army strength…..maybe a few now long extinct xenos factions……glorious.
