here’s the rest of the mashup i teased… when, a week ago after i finished it? man. it would’ve been out earlier, but i didn’t want to edit the video for it. also i decided to speedrun mag-four and godrays instead (as you probably saw), and made another little betadciu of another song from fnf soft (try and guess which one, your hint is counterparts). i think i’ll step away from editing the videos like this and just use fl studio’s visualizer like for the betadcius. not only is it easier and much less tedious than essentially putting together a slideshow, but it looks better too. so yeah, more of that.
what’ll i upload next? hmm… probably postmortal+accelerant, but there could be another banger that drops between now and when I finish that. looking at my backlog and i’m seeing a ton of things i can upload… 3 mashups with reactor/meltdown parts, postmortal+accelerant but the other way around, a bunch of other mashups, 4 different betadcius of short songs (with the exception of one which has a file that’s as big as epiphany’s, pretty sure i’ve said it already, but your hint is headphone warning), 1 that’s almost done, 2 that aren’t, and a few other plans i have for other things to do (one of which was Aggregation from VS Deimos, probably going to make that next).
also about godrays and entity and coding stuff: I almost did Shotgun Shell instead, but I’m glad I didn’t because Blantados made an amazing version that’s also playable in his BETADCIU mod. It seems like it’s not too hard to do the character switching in-game (there’s a switch character event in psych engine, i imagine you’d just put the already-existing character json files in there and use that to switch between them when the song does and change all the offsets and scale and stuff), BUT you’d need the png and xml files for all the characters to make the custom characters in psych engine, and idk how i’d get characters like whitty and sarv bc their mods were privated and i didn’t care enough about the game at the time of their release to download and play them myself. Blantados’s BETADCIU mod has basically every character in it, so I could use the files from that and directly put the charts into psych engine (with any custom notes also being in the code already so i could just put em in too). Something that would be even cooler is if I could figure out how the game’s code works so i could have multiple characters on screen at the same time (kinda like in dual demise from doki doki, but they would sing at the same time and not alternate). Doesn’t sound like it’d be too hard… but i haven’t coded in Haxe or Lua before, so I’d have to understand however that works to do anything with that. I’ll look into it, but don’t expect anything
