  1. Actually there is limitation in free version: you can save render only in .png format no .jpg or other formats. For me is .png in most cases unnecessarily large.

  2. No offense, but when oliver did a video about lumion being able to render in isometric views i just couldn't understand, even at the time. It's been years now and d5 render and twinmotion literally killed lumion. Whoever it's still using that shit is simply behind in the industry innovations.
For oliver, better late than ever.
And i still think twinmotion and unreal will be the kings of archviz in 5-10 years, even d5 will become more niched.
As for the casual architect, sketchup + free render engine + enhancer AI will do the job for little to no price and much less time consuming (both learning and doing)

  3. i don't know how people can say that renders made with d5, lumion or twinmotion are looking good. On the first look the pictures look so unreal that this can't be the approach of somebodys visualization.

  4. As a student I have been looking at learning new to me rendering softwares, and this video convinced me to learn D5! Especially now that Enscape is a payed product even for students

  5. D5 has become my fav rendering tool …even with my average graphic card I can still get decent results that I struggled to achieve with the other software

  6. Thank you for the informative video! It'd be really great if you could make a video with useful tips and tricks for architects using D5. I'm sure it would be incredibly helpful for us all.
D5 has became my first and only rendering software and as someone that mostly used Revit for a long time, the appearance of the model on D5 is incredible 🙌

  7. I was vray user. Then switch to enscape for saving time, yes it does reduce lots of quality, but sometime time are more valuable for someone like me, who do more than 30 project a month.

Then i discover d5, been using it since d5 2.0, and loving it everyday, then they release new GI, it change everything, no more wasting time on setting artificial lighting. What a perfect engine

  8. I tend to use D5 for faster result but lower quality and Unreal Engine for when I want a really decent rendering. There is some plasticity to the D5 images that I just cannot get rid of. But when timing is the ultimate goal and not quality, D5 is the way to go.

  9. I've been working on Lumion for the past few years because of how fast it was to achieve decent renders. Vray was too much effort and time consuming for me. This D5 seems like the next deal tbh, i'm considering more and more trying it and maybe switching to it. (It even looks easier, and render ready made)
