  1. Buffy kicked off so many supernatural and vampire themed movies, series and books and because of its influence on popculture definitely should've been included! You should make a part 2 and fix this list…

  3. Missed Blade. – The shaving scene is one of thee biggest Hollywood tropes. They are absolutely terrible. Here's why, firstly they are overplayed, it is unoriginal at this point and rather boring.

Their main intention is to denote a power play – So in the Stoker's scene, it shows that Dracula at any moment could end Keanu's life. Easy, Keanu is in a very vulnerable position and must yield to Dracula's inherent position of power as well as the physical position of power due to the razor pressed against Keanu's juggular.

Another way the shaving with a straight razor is boringly over used in cinema is the reversal.
A man in the a position of power wrongs someone and has the wronged person(s) shave his face.
So, this is over played, usually a female is assigned to this task. The male harms her in some way and requests she shaved him. And the camera zooms heavily in, sometimes so heavily we see each little hair get ticked down by the razor – this is the part where you should have grabbed a pillow for a nap because you've seen this before or you can take a quick sh**t because it lasts way too long but yes, you have seen in 666 times before.
It implies at any moment the wronged could slash his throat, get their revenge and everything will be good. But the wronged cannot do this nor will they. They reason being is because there may be unfinished business BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY the man is in TOO HIGH OF A POSITION OF POWER. The wronged cannot harm him for fear of majour retaliation.
It tells the audience that despite the fact he has a straight razor pressed to his jugular the wronged is still powerless to stop him.
He is just that high of a position of power, he cannot be stopped in this moment. BUT GIVE IT 20 MINUTES and he will be defeated and everyone will be so happy they move in with Walt Disney himself and sing carols until they die. Because all hollywood is is one big org*ie of happiness. Legit.
It is such a god awful scene.

    Just stop.
