Vader’s Retribution – The Imperial March Rock Cover – Star Wars

Darth Vader, in my eyes, is the GREATEST fictional character of all time! Born into slavery with the name Anakin Skywalker, he went on to train as a Jedi Palawan, marry the love of his life, become a Jedi Knight, and emerge as the Republic’s greatest warrior and general during the Clone Wars.

Sadly, the death of his mother, horrors of war, hypocrisy of the Jedi, and fear of his pregnant wife’s death all influenced him to swear allegiance to Darth Sidious and the Dark Side of the Force as a newly anointed Sith Lord named Darth Vader.

Vader, along with the 501st legion of clones under his command, proceeded to murder all the Jedi at the Jedi Temple; not even the younglings were spared from this fate.

Vader continued the rest of his adult life hunting down and eliminating the surviving Jedi, until his son Luke Skywalker served as the catalyst for his redemption: Vader sacrificed himself to kill his master Sidious, thus saving his son and the galaxy.

Vader’s theme “The Imperial March” is a well known piece of music and Vader himself has appeared in numerous video games over the years! This cover serves as a tribute to all this.

All credit for the original theme goes to John Williams and the London Symphony Orchestra.
