Level 67 Frailed vs. level 77 Voltatia the Power Master.
Kill this boss to unlock Power Core and EMP recipes. He also unlocks the Lightning Curtain ability. He’s one of the necessary bosses for progression in the Gloomrot patch and killing him at a lower level will give you the upper hand when speedrunning.
I used Tier 3 Jewels with slightly above-average rolls for all of the skills.
In this video series, I kill every V Rising boss as 10 levels lower than the boss and 0% Frail Blood. Standard PvP rules. Filmed in the Secrets of Gloomrot patch (May 2023).

I love this video series. Out of curiosity, how many attempts did you do on Voltatia to get a no hit? I find her to be one of the more difficult bosses.
I killed this boss on my first try. Now trying to kill it a 2nd time, I've died at least 10 times over, I've barely got it past half health most of the time. That first time was a complete fluke.

i tried killing this boss like 100 times even with best gear, simply cannot be done…
Such a shit fight, throws so much garbage at you that it covers the fucking screen, one of the best spells in the game and its gonna take the average player until damn near end game loot to be able to beat it

I finally beat this ho solo. It was only made possible by your videos, my determination and many hours of grinding. I no bullshit took 3 real days of camping at her spot, fighting her for hours on end each day (around 3 hours of actual battle time each day). After replacing my gear twice and losing my shit never, I took her out with level 80 gear with no real quality blood to speak of. I used Veil, Volley, L Ball and Tempest with only the Reaper.
You sir are a man amongst men and have skills I did not think were attainable. Due to that fact, I found skills in myself that I would not have thought was previously possible. Take a bow good sir, Undead Valhalla is waiting for us!
First i have to take down Azariel, but this looks doable😅. Probably not in the first try thpugh..

You've changed your private setting to do more damage than usual. chaos bolt doesn't even hit for 100 at level 74. Nice video, but quit lying to the rest of us pls.

I see how you did it, but man, you have to disengage so much just to stay alive and keep the fighting going.. even at proper level, the damage you get from any mistake can be close to lethal and that beam's tracking can get you killed in some very cheap ways when you get into phase 2.
Many times I thought I'm doing good, over half health left and nearing the finish line, then one mistake happens, I get combo blast and beam and I'm down to 10-20%.

Definitely NOT one of the hardest. In the 2nd try my armor broke . In the 3rd i killed it 🙂 But it wasn't nearly as bad as the other 77 lvl Matka. That was the hardest boss yet. Took me like 6-7 deaths. I usually don t have trouble with bosses it this game but that one was so annoying. Defeated this one with 37% warrior blood. Amazing videos man ! I learn mechanics that i would never expect to be there. I can't even imagine the work you put in. All love
Death counter atm is 16, and I will try again and update the counter for what it took me to beat the boss xD
What a fight. I used 100% rogue blood the blood moon buff, brew of ferocity, echanted brew and blood well as a heal and I still failed more often than I'd like to admit. Was 3 levels lower, though, but still. This boss was no joke.
It took me and my friend 4 tries to kill this boss using a tag team technique, but on the 4th try, the boss didn't split into 2. Can't explain what happened, but the fight was cake because of it
The old fart is back lol…. I killed this moron after nearly hundred attempts. I used 2handed sword, 95%+ rogue potion in time of Blood Moon. Spells were the same in the beginning but I can't use the shield so I just changed to skull and chaos volley, and hearth strike. Before that I roamed in the world to practiced against everything. With the same tactic I killed Matka at first attempt. Think I am unable to use the shield at all, so just maximized the glass cannon mode.
