  1. Take your time with this boss. For me, it's about avoiding damage and punishing when I can. He has 3 different melee attacks that I recall: a 1 hand slam and pull back, a 2 hand slam, and a giant spin attack. Learn to dodge these, and punish him afterward. His other moves involve fire and charging around the area. When I see the fire moves start up, I back away and keep my distance, don't even try to attack him. It takes a few minutes to beat him this way, but it works well for me.

  2. This boss took me a while I recommend jump attacks on the head you can get him to stagger like 3 times at least and get the crit against him 3 times I at most do like two-three attacks at a time only do three if he does a magma shot and two if he does anything else really also focusing the head will help telegraph his attacks at least it helped me last thing when attack always try to do a heavy jump attack for the start of the attacks and finish the combo with 1-2 light attacks to maximize the damage you deal you’ll basically want to run away as soon as you’re done with the combo

  3. Had to come back to him when I got a bit more health and some upgrades on my katana. I used the Bloody Slash art of war to deal damage from afar and then got in close with R2 and jump attacks. It also helps having a summon (I use Fanged Imp summon since they cause bleed as well and are pretty tanky for the FP cost) to help you deal damage and draw agro away.

  4. Hey DG, you need to get some sacred tears at churches in the world. They make it so your flask heals you for more. Looks like you don't have any charges on your flasks. Also, why do you have claws in your left hand? For looks or can they parry like in DS3? Only time I have another weapon in my left hand is when I'm dual wielding katanas since you get a new L1 moveset(love that they brought back power stance, one of few things DS2 did right).

  5. If you are not using a shield, and want to take advantage of your left-hand weapon as well, you can just press L1/LB to perform the dual-blade motion instead of hitting R1/RB.
But anyway, kudos for the good fight!
