Idk anything about ultraman but I’m excited because this legit just looks like monster rancher 2.
Immediately after making this they released an English trailer specifically for North America with better translations https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Msyi10WPpY4

Haha the way you moved the camera at 10:40 matched the combination video perfectly
i wish they use the engine here for next monster rancher game
whats that suezo-like monster you used in the thumbnail? fake news
The dots on the moves makes me wonder if you can level them up somehow
I think this is a brilliant move to avoid a Monster Rancher DS situation. Like I personally want some kind of evolution of Monster Rancher 4 with the ranch you can run around and the Free Time system as the monster raising felt more personal as well as going adventuring whenever you want, but KoeiTecmo hasn't done a new Monster Rancher in like…a decade? They gotta get back in the groove of MAKING a Monster Rancher again before trying to go crazy. But if you just make a basic Monster Rancher 2 style game? There's a high chance you'll wind up with Monster Rancher DS where everyone just goes "Oh it's Monster Rancher 2, but not as good". By slapping the Ultraman license on there, even if it does wind up "not as good" as Monster Rancher 2, the new monsters and new angle will at least give it SOME reason to exist. On top of that, Monster Rancher has been out of the game for so long that it doesn't really have a big fanbase to work with anymore. So using the Ultraman license may introduce the series to a new audience.
So all in all? A great move! I look forward to buying this and WOW was this my favorite reveal of the E3 2022 time period.
EDIT: Oh and fun sidenote. While the unreleased DOS translation of Princess Maker 2 called it "Adventure", the awkwardly Korean translated Steam release of Princess Maker 2 uses the term "Errantry" instead. I felt this was very fitting considering how closely tied Monster Rancher and Princess Maker are.
the giant smile plastered on my face when watching this trailer…
The icon on the one move reminds me of how you could add elements to attacks in Monster Rancher 4
been waiting for this video
its a shitty music but u gotta love it
The wild part is that like hours after this happened on stream namco announced it's coming to the us
Are the models low poly on purpose?
lol they couldn't just give another monster rancher game eh?
Holy shit, the term "Errantry" was first used in 1620, literally 402 years ago 04:20
Lol i was just wondering if you'd watch this trailer and reacted, and you actually did
So, maybe, MAYBE one day we can get one with Godzilla kaiju someday too! As someone who's a huge fan of both Kaiju and Monster Rancher, never before have I wanted something so badly and never known I did until I received it.
We finally got that triceratops.
Only complate I have is that it looks like it has too many "Alien" class monsters
Ive always wanted this but with Godzilla monsters, and you know what? Its good enough for me. Maybe i should get into ultraman. Seems like something a Godzilla fan would also like too.
From the janky graphics, sub-par music, and even typos (ulitmate kaiju ftw), this screams monster rancher with ultraman enemies slapped into it, and I love every single second of it.
My knowlage of Ultraman is low, but here's why i love this.
The bad guys are playable and they are the heros.
Like think of other games were you never get that chance to do anything on the villians side.
Looks stupid and Idiotic and I LOVE IT!
