  3. this looks like an actualy upgrade of the top down arpg formula unlike diablo which has just be stagnant for years and not a diablo side-upgrade that PoE games are, about time its nice to see an arpg thats not just a lazy cheep way to avoid making a 3rd/1st person game

    Just another grimdark soulslike in an ocean of them instead of another entry in one of if not the best and most gorgeous and emotionally fullfilling metroidvania series of all time

  20. How many people do you really think are playing this right now since it's only Early Access and only the first chapter? Game looks amazing, but I can't see many diving into it yet.
    Gotta say though, I'm not seeing anything "incredibly unique" about this game. Soulslikes are a dime a dozen and this just looks like another one that's well made that incorporates a Diablo like loot system (also nothing new). People kept saying this was like a new "Diablo", but it never looked like that's what it was.

I'm in the UK – the 5pm release time is killing me today – I'm off all day but go to Slimming World at 5pm tonight and will be home at about 7pm – I will just have to play all night to catch up lol – Slimming World has reversed my type 2 diabetes so skipping it is not an option for me. This game looks absolutely amazing

  28. This game might be my perfect game. I love souls-like games, their exploration and combat. I have always been drawn towards the loot aspect of ARPGS, but have been pushed away because the combat, especially when it’s point and click, just doesn’t click for me. This game has the best of both worlds

Did you get a sense in the parts you played whether you can "RPG" your way out of the difficulty by grinding and getting over-leveled, allowing you to ignore some boss mechanics or at least not get crushed because the player might be terrible at parrying or dodging? Also, are the blocks in the game at boss fights restricting your explorable area to smaller chunks at a time or is it more like Elden Ring, where you can get very far before engaging a single major boss?

  36. Played the EA-version for 90min – and this is certainly NOT like Diablo or PoE at all. It's more like Dark Souls in isometric perspective, with survival elements and an apparently classic RPG story. I like what I saw, heard and played so far. Controls with keyboard and mouse are a bit weird, though. Controller is probably the far better option (didn't try that one yet, tho)

  37. The problem with the affiliated discount is that it has to be purchased through Private Division. That means you can't use your Steam Wallet and don't have the normal Steam guarantees given by purchasing it through the Steam Store. That kinda' sucks.

  42. They need to stop bringing up other arpgs like diablo, poe last epoch. This game shares nothing with the gameplay of those titles, many will get confused expecting a "diablo like" experience, and it's not that….at all.
